Font pack for skinning?

Featured Replies

Don't know if this is the right subject thread but seems like it since it ties in with almost anything and is computer related.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has a font pack or something like that for people who skin. I'm starting to love to skin now, though I just don't have many good fonts nor do I know what fonts to look for. Any chance anyone could help me out?! Thanks, Jester.

I usually go on google and look up fonts and download them to use for skins or I'll do a site for outlining and shadows and what not if I get lazy to do it.

What fonts do you use the most? And I saw a speed art video on youtube of a guy making a skin (He's no longer active or else I'd ask him) but he moves the letters so they'd be slanted. How do I do that?

It really depends, one of my favorite fonts is the serpentine font, Use it on a lot of my skins.  It all depends what program you use, believe it or not I use Paint.Net to make my skins and never really used PS much, I got good with Paint and used it for well over 4 years now making skins.

I use Photoshop. Took a photoshop elective, already knew more than the teacher so she basically just let me piss around in the class. Might take it again this year.

Though still :P How do I make the words slanted?

I did the same when I was in HS, I made the teacher laughed so every day I brought coffee in and just messed around.  I know with PN you can download plugins to do more which si what I have to make my words slanted, should be a distorted tool or something, I'm not much of a help because I don't use PS lol

I just download fonts as I go when I make skins. Just browsing through font sites for somwthing to fit the design im making. And to slant fonts, you can free transform the font layer and change the height angle to whatever you want
