I may be missing something with the search features but I think it would be great if we could add something to select the vehicle name, so it is easier to replace vehicles that are harder to find. For example, search for "sherrif2" (Just an example, not saying that vehicle is hard to find a replacement for.)

You realise that you can simply rename the files and replace any slot with that vehicle right? It doesn't have to stay in that particular slot.

As long as you have the brain power to extract the SirenSettings from the usually included carvariations.meta...

Provided it's a standard police vehicle slot already, such as renaming police to police2 or police2 to fbi, it'll still work fine.

Yeah, but some people probably don't have the brain cells to rename a file.

By some people, I'd roughly say 90% of them.

I'll leave that here before they create another topic on how to replace another slot!

 

Ok, the reason I asked was because I wanted to make sure that I didn't break some vehicles by switching them out with another one (one not intended for that slot). Sorry still learning the ins and outs of the whole vehicle modding part. I'll look at that topic @Hystery thank you.
