Graphics

Featured Replies

Hello.  When I go ahead and change the graphics to something higher because the game does not look good, it lags the crap out of my computer.  What would I have to buy that would enable me to crank these settings up without experiencing any lag?

Here are my PC specs:

Well if you want good graphics and no lag, It will have to cost ya. GTA 5 is a very memory hungry game. I highly suggest you get a GTX 980. Around 500-600 dollars, Expensive but totally worth it, Along with a good processor. Google up high end PC's and look at their specs.

To be honest, wouldn't even bother with a 980, just go with a 980 TI :)

And if you're not made of money, you can get something that'll play GTA just fine for way less than a 980. The GTX 970 and the AMD Radeon R9 390 are both great cards which go on sale often.

Bigger issue is, make sure your power supply can handle it. You'll need at least a 500 W power supply for any better graphics card, and possibly more.

Everyone's saying the 900 series and I'm just sitting here using a GTX 770 4GB and the game runs perfectly smooth on medium/high settings with graphical modifications installed. You just can't max out the AA without the game dipping below 60FPS, is all.
