Yes we know who, no, we're not going to state it, +rep and -rep is meant to be anonymous, also, there's no need to get mad at -Rep, after all, it's just rep, it has no stature on the site whats so ever.

lol, someone must have a serious grudge to downrep that. All I was doing was saying thanks but hey, as justin said, it doesn't mean anything.

I do think that people should have to leave a anonymous comment as to why they -rep a post though.

We "could" and we "will" are two completely different things,my man.You should know that.Now,I'm not a guy who sees others' reputations as their real life dignity,but for some people it really matters.I know,it does for Tom.At one point, did for JAM too.And admit it or not,its true that moderators will never be downvoted.Because people know that they can see who downrepped.If I were you,Nikolai,and posted the exact same thread,the first post would've been "Popular" and I can bet my arse to that.I've never,in my life,seen a staff member's posts being downvoted.There was a time when we (me and JAM) were having difficulties maintaining our reps because of some people's rage against us.JAM wasn't a mod those days,so I had to ask Molten for some help.There were indeed some actions taken as a result,and that was because the staff did find abuse of rep system.Even Penguin issued a notice in public interest.But the point is,that after that JAM would've never struggled to upkeep his rep.If he weren't upvoted,he might haven't been downvoted as well.Kinda immunity or something.

I think you're missing the point of what I said,I said that there's no need for rectifying reputation on a specific post.

People need to stop being so emotional over reps. They have a right to upvote or downvote, it's their opinion. Why is another story. Oh and no I didn't downvote anything, I will tell you if I did.
