LCPDFR 1.2?

Featured Replies

I read about that year or so back, that it will be put on hold and probably the last. GTAV lspdfr is the future and now. Lcpdfr is old and gone.

what keeps lcpdfr alive is the people, and for those that want to go online for GTAiv

I don't like the idea of abandoning LCPD:FR. I agree that LSPD:FR has higher potential, in term of talking about modding. However, what would be if GTA VI will be released in a few months, having even higher potential? LSPD:FR would share the fate of its older cousin so quick? I don't request from developer to come back to upgrading LCPD:FR, but this is that one modification that beginned everything. I think that every cop from Liberty City should have awareness, that some minor updates can ocur in future versions. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the time developers give to enchance LSPD:FR modding, but I strongly believe that GTA IV with LSPD:FR should be remembered, not falling to some kind of oblivion.

I agree with you, Agent Smith.

I think LCPDFR is one of the Best modifications ever made.

I hope that everybody who Plays LSPDFR keeps in mind that it all began with LCPDFR. I still Play LCPDFR, but as soon as I get GTA V for PC I will most likely switch to LSPDFR.

But I will remember the great time with LCPDFR.

You'll never walk alone.

You know, if it would be one of many ,,First Response" mods. But it is that onethat first. I don't request concentrating even 1% of effort giving to LSPD:FR to enchance LCPD:FR, but I just want to have an awareness, that some things may be upgraded, if not added. It's like GTA V, without IV (and some other games), probably GTA Five wouldn't exist. It is worth to keep it in mind. Also, some may just prefer East Coast style, working in a big city.

Maybe it's easiest to say rather than script, however effort put to create 1.0 version of LCPD:FR shouldn't go to waste.

LCPDFR has not fallen into some sort of dark pit where we won't ever look again. It is at its final version, but that doesn't mean we've forgotten about it. I am certain both Sam and LMS look at LCPDFR for inspiration for the one mod that started it all.

When and if GTA VI is released, well, that's for the future to tell, isn't it? Right now, development is focused on LSPDFR.

I understand, I just think some minor updates for LCPD:FR would be nice, not exactly in the near future.

Edited: For example, a pullover sound, when using other ped slot, to be siren signal, instead of total mute. It would be easy to do, I think, as well as a nice, minor feature.

The development team has moved on to GTAV & LSPDFR. I don't think they ever said "never" to a new LCPDFR build but due to that game's age and horrible stability with mods I highly doubt they want to go back.

Now you are wrong, because LCPDFR is a LOT more stable and don't have so many chrashes like it did before, and the reason is Windows 10,  it has 30% better memory allocation, making games, especially gta 4, run smoother and stable.

Besides, there ar still some guys who working with great progress and have idea on future made LCPDFR 2.0 mod, the same guys who made V Idle stance and hand on Holster Animation, Police radio mods... so there are something big coming soon, just need to be patient

This is in no way official though and usage of the LCPDFR brand wouldn't be allowed. But I am glad there are people out there still making mods. Got any links to this?

Sure :)

I think that lcpdfr is a tad more unstable than lspdfr, but it is more fun to play! It's just because there's more complete and advanced mods for it.

Eventually once GTA V has ELS and lspdfr is more "complete" i'll start playing it more, but until then i'll just have to play lcpdfr.

Anyway keep up the good work everyone! I really hope lspdfr becomes just as fun as lcpdfr!
