This is a long shot, but it won't hurt to try:

  1. Right click the start menu
  2. Open "Programs and Features"
  3. On the left, click "Turn Windows Features on or off"
  4. Click the check box next to "Legacy Components"
  5. Follow whatever else it tells you to do

Click the little plus next to it and make sure DirectPlay is checked. Click ok, then try the mod again.

It still shows this:

Try this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=34429

Also, you can ignore the "Log Check." If the System dependency issue is resolved, the mod should work.

I got this error instead:

Are you using OPENIV? If so you need to remove the .IVAUD from the sound mods filename before you import them.
