New Bill worse than SOPA introduced

***BREAKING NEWS***

CISPA PASSED.

http://www.techdirt....en-passed.shtml

The vote was moved up by one day without any warning and some changes were made that actually make it worse. And it passed. Obama threatened to veto it the other day, but somehow I doubt he will. About 86% of Republicans voted yes, only about 25% of Democrats voted yes.

*Edit* Sorry to double post, but this wouldn't get bumped up properly without it, and this is serious stuff.

Well that's not surprising. They have to keep the illusion that the 2 parties oppose eachother somehow. Anyways, expect this bill to be like the NDAA. It will Pass the Senate almost unanimously and despite assurances he will veto it, Obama will lie again and sign it.

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.

Yeah one news site I read said almost the exact same thing. As far as party opposition goes, unfortunately that's a big part of why Obama's presidency has been less than outstanding. Too many Republicans getting in the way of a Democrat president.

What ever happened to our great nation....

Our politicians got bought out by mega-banks.

We formed a democracy instead of a monarchy or a dictatorship, but kept the same naive old men running it. I don't like those alternatives much better, by the way. I think they all suck, but I also believe we do need a working government to keep some things under control. I dunno.

I'll leave it at that.

I honestly don't care which party runs the government. All I want is one good president that can get us out of this recession instead of concentrating on other unimportant things.. *Cough* Obama *Cough*
