  • Hey Guys, I have also experienced the dreaded crash, just after the prison. Right as you pass under the 'Hell Awaits' sign. As my game was heavily modded with open iv, scripts and lspdfr plugins,

  • Ah glad I'm not the only one with these problems. @pjrthefox - thanks. I'll give that a go. I didn't realise the new version of RPH came with the counter measure for DLC vehicles. TrainerV uses a

Me too. Whenever I hit the prison area and some parts of Sandy Shores my game crashes but I Haven't had such issue in the city. My guess would be something to do with RageHook plugins update cause it

@shako Cool, now you're getting somewhere. You can backtrack now. After it's updated, launch it through steam. If that works, put your mods folder back in and launch it through steam. If that works, Launch it with Rage.

@pjrthefox i got it working! but now im just wondering, should i put all my other plugins in or just stick with the ones i have in now?

update: Crashed when i put my mods folder back in... But i rlly want those sirens so idk what to do now...

Or do you think it's maybe my custom police cars that make the game crash?

UPDATE: ok yeah im confirming the issue is the Mods folder.. but it has my fav sirens sooo i guess i should til' ragepluginhook 0.38? XD

@shako Is the siren pack you downloaded an iov install or did you have to manually add them with open iv?

The mods folder has nothing to do with Rage. Files in the mods folder are modded game files.

@pjrthefox well i added them by going through resident.rpf and i export vehicules.rpf and added the sounds by there, but yeah my game crashes when i add the mods folder

Edited by shako

@shako Just do that again then, with the new rpf's  from your updated gta v directory. Don't use your old mods folder. Create a new one and manually add the files like you did before.

@DaMomsMom If your game is crashing before it loads, Cut and paste your mods folder to your desktop and try to launch your game. The mods folder needs to be removed from your gta 5 directory. (Use cut and paste method, so you can put it back if the fault is still there when it's removed).

If your game loads, but crashes in game, hold shift when you start the game with rage and bring up the settings menu. Click advanced settings and tick the following: Disable counter measures against online vehicles being removed in singleplayer.

Just wanted to point out RPH has been updated to 0.38.886.6940 - it seems as though almost everyone was having issues.

"The counter measures against Rockstar's attempt to keep online vehicles out of singleplayer are now disabled by default. Can be enabled under 'Advanced Settings' in the launcher."
