  1. I am definitely looking forward to this. I like to clear any crime scene before I move on and even after my over zealous fellow officers have riddled the perp with holes, I always call in ems first, just in case they magically bring him or her back to life, just so I can get my arrest. Hate being down on my arrest figures.
  2. If you think it actually cures the problem by removing the mods folder, maybe you should think about starting from scratch with a new mods folder. It could be that there was a conflicting file from either graphic mod and it affected the draw distance and lodscale. There are different ways to achieve draw distance and maybe these were messing your game up somehow. I would start with all your car mods and get it to where you had it, minus the graphics mod. Make a backup and then put in the graphic mod. At least if it goes loopy again, you won't have to waste time starting from scratch again.
  3. Did you try and run the game with no add-ons at all? No mods folder, no enb, no Reshade etc.? Just lspdfr. If you did and it's still there, you may have problems outside of the game. Starmix is correct, you should have no problem running this game with your set up. Just a thought, but you don't have any manual lod settings in your commandline.txt file do you?
  4. I always have the same approach on any pc related problem. What is the best thing to narrow down the area of the problem. Right now, you don't know where the problem is. Until you do, you may end up running around in circles. I always go back to basic's if my game starts going loopy on me, unless you can remember when it started and remove the last modification. @Starmix Again, I'm hijacking, I apologise. I just saw miracle of v and alarm bells rang out.
  5. @LtRob Ok, just checking. Didn't play nice on my system at all. I have a modified version of VisualV, but I no longer use Reshade or enb.
  6. @LtRob Is that Miracle of V - World enhancement project? With reshade and ENB? and the texture packs? I don't suppose you've tried it without that memory sapping mod.
  7. @Starmix Forum / subforum / thread or topic / post. Got it ;)
  8. Forum, Thread, Topic, Section, Post. It's all French to me.
  9. @jordylad1690 By editing the <flags> line in the vehicles.meta file with 'FLAG_HAS_LIVERY'. It is properly explained in this very good guide, right at the top of this very thread.
  10. @JokerMan0925 Have you tried the gameconfig.xml file fix from RDE. It is on their download page at the bottom of the description. http://www.mediafire.com/download/jw7jw6jb7iu1vw8/gameconfig.xml (RDE gameconfig.xml fix).
  11. I love the idea of getting updates on your victims, oops.. law breakers. To know they got what they deserved in the courts gives my meaningless life as a police officer some purpose. Looking forward to the release.

You're not alone. We're all a little stupid most of the time.

Cool. If you are modding game files, hope you're creating a mods folder.
  14. pjrthefox replied to engholm1989's topic in Legacy
What version are you currently on?
  15. pjrthefox replied to engholm1989's topic in Legacy
Update your game, or buy it. Whichever option suits you best.
  16. I think if there was no mods folder in place, verifying the game cache will be the only way to clear this error, unless the car was not installed correctly that is and reapplying could be the answer. I've only answered because this thread seems awfully gracious. I am absolutely spiffing, thank you very much.
  17. @Arariel patchday8ng is the latest weapons.rpf update. If you can't get it to work, maybe you should contact the author of said mod about why you can't get it to work.
  18. @Arariel You only need to replace the .awc file.
  19. @Arariel It does indeed go into patchday8ng. It is preferable to create a mods folder when using modded game files. Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday8ng\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages\weapons.rpf\
  20. @SuperStumpje Thanks for the clarification. I was pretty sure, just not 100%
  21. @Ketchumk9 A couple of things from looking at your gta v directory. 1. Have you checked you have the requirements to run RagePluginHook successfully. See here - http://ragepluginhook.net/Requirements.aspx 2. I'm not 100% sure on this, but Rage maybe needs to see a specific install folder i.e. 'Grand Theft Auto V' (You have your install folder as 'Grand Theft Auto V - SP'). Maybe @Kal74 can shed some light on the install path conundrum.
  22. @SepticEwe Hold the shift key and launch RPH to bring up the RagePluginHook settings window. Click the Advanced Settings tab and UNTICK 'Enable Counter Measures Against Online Vehicles Being Removed in SinglePlayer'. Click Save and Launch.
  23. Editing the popgroups.ymt file would allow you to stop certain police vehicles from spawning. I have been messing around with popgroups.ymt for a while now. However it is very tricky and one wrong key stroke or space causes no cars to spawn in the game. And also you would probably need to alter the dispatch.meta file and the lspdfr backup.xml. It may turn out to be too much work for the desired result. However, in the vehicles.meta file, each car has a spawn frequency value. I know that police cars are set at 100 (For popcycle.dat editing). Maybe changing those values for each car you don't want to spawn in game to 0 may work. I don't know because I haven't had any reason to not have them spawn. This is the line you should look for if you want to try. <frequency value="100" /> I would suggest making a back up of the vehicles.meta file first and use Notepad++ for the actual editing.
