Mustangs being sold in the UK??

Featured Replies

It seems Ford have decided to sell the 2015 Mustang in the UK, you never usually see proper Ford American vehicles in the UK (Crown Vic,taurus, raptor etc). The only mustangs i have ever seen have been left hand drive.

Hopefully this means the interesting fords will start to be sold in the UK like the SVT Raptor or the SVT Raptor

I have to agree, they don't really fit the style over here. It's too-.... American. Also the fact, if I had enough money to get one of them, I'd just save up and get an Aston Martin or a Jaguar, some great marvels of British engineering.

🕵️‍♂️ Always watching, always waiting.

I don't feel like those kind of cars really fit UK's style. The Focus seems like the best fit for the UK.

The previous mustangs like the GT500 definitely don't, i doubt it the GT500 would have the turning circle to travel in london :P. I saw one of the 2015 mustangs a few months back and its way more suited to european roads smaller in width, sure it doesn't fit in with the Aesthetics that well but it's better than those dreaded smart cars blighting the landscape :/.

Maybe a few scattered Mustangs, but definitely not a Raptor. The Raptor would push any UK car right off the road.

lol you would literally able to drive over traffic if you wanted to.

good

Remember: Always use a mods folder!

We're getting them in Aus as well, and possibly some other American Fords soon since they're axing the Falcon which is Ford's Australian-exclusive vehicle.

You can get American cars here on online websites but they are EXTREMELY expensive. (I found a 2013 Dodge Charger SRT8: $120,000)

I drove past a house the other day and they had a brand new Cadillac Escalade which would have set them back at least $200,000 I reckon.

I see a few Chevy Silverado's and Dodge Ram's here and there, never seen a Tahoe or Suburban. I would LOVE to see a Crown Vic or Charger, it would make my day. If I could own a Charger, I would gladly take up the offer.

In Germany I am told that American muscle cars and pickup trucks go for a lot more money over here since the Germans aren't able to buy them from dealers. If I had known that I would have bought a random pickup truck before I moved here and sold it for a profit.

I'd love to see some of those classic American cars over here, I don't think they'll take off in a major way though - they simply won't fit on our roads!

Bad gas mileage, may not line up with EU emission and noise standards, too big and I'm betting some of these models won't be available in right hand drive. (I can see these Mustangs are, but Corvettes and the GT500 were not.) These vehicles are not a good fit for the UK market. There's a reason you have your own division of Ford & Chevrolet.

An Aston Martin would likely be 5 times as expensive.
