pack lighting is mostly done, just have to fix a few bugs.

after this ill add in interior equipment.

putting the sahp on hold, for now. working on a 1998 nypd highway patrol cvpi, in commemoration of 9/11.

modeling wise i only need to model the grill lights, theyl take a few minutes max.

the main thing now is the custom carcol. a friend of mine is working on one that would enable proper realistic lighting

both the grill lights and deck lights will be extras. so will the highriser lights (only the emis)

and no the highriser wont work. i dont know how to set it up and its not a priority atm.

and ik theres no hubcaps. thats another thing thats on my list of things to do

anyways heres a few screens of the model and where it is now.

I might be able to hook you up with a skin if I have time. Super accurate NYPD skins are a passion project for me. Hardest part would be finding the windshield font they used back then.

ive decided that before i start on anymore projects i should finish some of my older projects that ive thrown to the back.

so expect an update on the lapd slicktop with much better equipment, and detective lapd cvpi,. and a few more releases.

ive also been working on completely finishing my vision lightbar.

heres it in a chp setup

and for the equipement for the cvpi that i mentioned above, heres what ive done so far.

modeled a new controller

Well, i'm still waiting for the release of the CopLite LAPD CVPI and an update on the lights on the one you had released. Maybe you could put some coronas on the models for environmental lightning.

thats is something i have planned. 

making a vision slr. so far made the rotator. have to test it out tho as unless each rotator has its own steady siren, the emis would be a bit weird do to the shape and size of the rotator. atm its a commander beacon as the slr base hasnt been made yet.

ok tested out the slr.

driver side- red with blue in the back. hidden dummy

pass side- red with blue in the back. showing dummy

rear (red glass) red with steady burn in rotator, hidden dummy. didnt work.

 

so basically obviously the one with the corona showing is best.

it would be best to have blue dummies too to be realistic, although idk how practical thatd be without using a shit extra sirens.

 

also, for those that are wondering, the white isnt a siren. its just the sun (or whatever it is) reflecting off of the rotator

added a mobile vision dashcam into the slicktop cvpi for the highway patrol pack. i will also be modeling l3 dashcams, alprs and computers for the newer charger and explorer

finished modeling the decatur genesis 1, which will be used in the slicktop cvpi
