[Call Idea] Evacuation

Featured Replies

Often times in the California area, wildfires will threaten homes, and voluntary/mandatory evacuations will take place. It would be neat if this were implemented to LSPDFR. The evacuation could be for Fires, Flooding, Crime In The Area, Gas Leak, etc.. You as the officer, would have to make sure everyone exits the area. Sometimes they will, sometimes they wont, and you must search for them. (Theoretically, you would have some sort of roster, and check off names, or just count the people to see if everyone comes out or not).

The area could be an apartment complex, a whole street, or a store or building. Maybe even something big like an Airport. Maybe you could have to search inside some of the Online apartments for people. For the Crime version (possible gunman, hostage situation etc, ) maybe SWAT would be covering you and a small group of people would follow you. Maybe there is an active firefight and you are trying not to get the people killed. There are many variations of this, though could be a very difficult call to code.

Let me know your thoughts and ideas on this possible call!

It would take a while to get something this in depth functioning as intended within LSPDFR, however the basics of getting people in the area to simply run away from the area was already there in LCPDFR, so it's certainly possible.

Very true. It would be cool, even if it were just those basic functions.

that's a cool idea. What about perhaps a large scale riot but not all peds had weapons. The officer had to determine the threats and act accordingly. You would have to determine who started the riot for instance a sleeper terrorism cell or maybe a just a civilian uprising of sorts. The possibities could be boundless.

Definitely! The riot idea is awesome, and yeah, there really are tons of possibilities!

Great idea, but I think it would take a big toll on performance.

If this ever gets made, they should make sure the amount of people being evacuated is configurable.

I agree. There are definitely issues with the call that would need to be sorted out, and this is one of them for sure.

I can see this being more of a Plugin functionality that perhaps a modder could pull off.  Just a simple talk to the person with Y and make them leave the scene while vehicles are catching fire etc.   could be interesting
