I was pondering today as to who might be interested in making these model's, i've never seen either of these and halifax is not the only place that has the Police Savanna or the dodge durango i'mnot mentioning any names simply because i don't want make make the wrong assumption or start spamming author's with request's, but would anyone be interested in modeling either of these?

the savanna has different light placement then other vehicles it has:

9 red and blue strobes outside the van right in front of the windshield

1 strobe on the front wheel panel's

1 strobe on the back wheel panel's

1 strobe right above where it say's "POLICE"

1 Strobe on either door behind the van

strobes in the headlight's and taillight's

the durango pretty much has any lighting like any other police vehicle

lightbar, strobes etc.

I don't know about you, but I love my Vapid Police Cruiser.

you sound pretty old school ;), what i mean by that is you sound like you prefer the original's

Agreed, the Vapid Police Cruiser is nice, but it's based off of the 1992-1997 Ford Crown Victoria, which was phased out of most North American police departments a long time ago. The Vapid Police Cruiser would've been perfect in GTA: San Andreas, GTA III, or GTA: Liberty City Stories given the time period those games were set in (1990s-early 2000s), but in GTA IV (late 2000s) and GTA V (early 2010s), it looks somewhat out of place.

Heck, even the mighty CVPI is looking outdated now, now that there's all these new cars flooding the market, Chevy Impala, Dodge Charger, etc.

I don't know about you, but I love my Vapid Police Cruiser.

And what about the Declasse Police Patrol?

They still made crown vic up until last year, the RCMP here in nova scotia use them, if you look at EVI's DL section his RCMP cruiser is an EXACT replica of what RCMP use here, charger's are overrated, hell, most police department only get the stock version of them no hemi.

Chasez is working on a gmc Savanna van, maybe after he releases it, can be edited into police van or ambulance, adding an ambo box body, etc.

The Durango would be also nice to see, a modeler called Lazlow is also working on a requested 2000 Durango (he makes models for pay)

Well, he posted it a month ago, along with some others (Lincoln Town car, which I'm looking really forward, Impala '09, Escalade, edit of the gmc bus, and Town Car Limo, and I think also a Ford Crown but not sure), many work but he said they will be released soon :)

About the modding for cash, I'm about requesting some models, nobody will make them unless I pay, it's the big problem if you want to see a more uncommon model...

I thought charging for mod's was not legal? if it was pay for play, i'd quit modding all the same.

Yeah, but I really want some models, and like seems that almost every modelers are busy doing mercedes, bmws, lamborginis, camaros and corvettes, unless I pay for a modeler, or I find a very generous modeler I will never see them ingame...

hmmm i've alway's wondered why police vehicle modeling isn't illegal all the same, some department's don't appreciate it *cough cough ottawa *cough cough ;),

not to mention ripping copyrighted vehicles.

It can be a bit of a legal kerfuffle if they charge money for it, especially if they convert models from one game into another (example: from Forza 3/4 to GTA:IV), as they are charging money for someone else's work.

It's also problematic when it comes to re-creating real-life cars and equipment and then charging money for it, it costs game developers a lot of money to licence real-life objects into a game.

They could potentially get into quite a bit of legal trouble if a car maker decides to take legal action, as they are liable for any damages caused.

I'm personally sick of all the Dodge Chargers,

If someone could spice it up a little and make some more common police cars from Europe instead of those big-ass American machines.

I'm talking about cars like these;

@Harper, i can't say i've ever downloaded a police vehicle based from europe, i guess maybe it's an "acquired taste" in my opinion, however, i think their's a bunch of those on GPM, i know their's a police sultan RS with a european texture on it, but even me not just everyone else that ask's for a model request is most definetetly ground's for "learn yourself" from another modeler so to speak.

i think you guys got the wrong idea.

what he was sayin was that someone payed him to make the model.

after that i'm sure he's going to release it to the public for free of charge.

it's ok to accept money for making mods but it's not ok to accept money in order for someone else to gain access to the mod
