LCPDFR Script issues after about 30 mins.?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Everyone time while playing GTA IV it will either say every time after about 30 min that there is a problem in lcpdfr (a different problem every time) and lcpdfr will stop working (normal play) or something weird will happen (ex. All cars will be 1 type of car) and most of the time the game will just go black and have the windows not responding box show up.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

PS I am using spark, trainer, indicator, area livery mod and traffic flow and my computer is a brand new 4 core i7 gaming computer with a nvidia GeForce 8gb graphics card and 3 tetra byte storage and my computer is virus free...if that helps.

If you do have ELS, disable it for A.I.

Set the 1 to a 0, so it looks like this:

Ai_ELS_SP = 0	  // Toggles ELS on/off for AI in SP

If your PC isn't powerful enough, and can't handle all the vehicles, that could also be a problem.

If you're using high-poly car mods, that could also be a problem.

My pc is pretty powerful (specs posted) above.

So i set it to 0 and it did it again and its just how it used to be (it didint do anything)

ELS and high poly car models are your problem, not LCPDFR. Moving thread to GTA IV support.

My suggestion: use a commandline.txt (google can help you with that) and throw out some high poly models.

My pc is pretty powerful

I'm getting sick of this quote.

GTA IV was ported to PC from the Xbox 360 version and hence is badly optimized,

You could have a NASA supercomputer and it could still have issues.

Stickies :) Please post diagnostics tool log.

That's just the way it looks since I posted it in a code form, yours is correct.

  • Community Team

Why do you have this thread when you already have a thread in the Support Section of LCPDFR?

Either way, you already have a thread on this issue plus this thread is in the wrong section, please avoid from creating multiple duplicate thread in the future, its un needed and it wont get you any replies, any faster, closing this thread, use the other one.

EDIT: Since your other thread got more replies, I'll just go ahead and merge this one for you.

you create a commandline.txt in your GTA IV root directory, then you paste one of the "-memrestrict XXXX" lines from that thread.
