I'm in need of a commandline

Featured Replies

I am in need of a commandline for my game, I heard that commandlines are based off your system specs so you can't just use a random one that you find...

My computer specs aren't the best, but here they are:

4GB RAM.

Windows 7 64 bit.

Intel Pentium T4500 @ 2.3Ghz.

ATI Mobility Radeon 5470 (512mb).

Anyone that can give me a commandline that can boost my game performance/fps will be much appreciated! :)

No commandline will help you get better fps with your PC specs. Only thing that might help you a bit is turning down some settings in your settings.xml, but besides that, start saving up money for an upgrade.

Command lines are your way of telling your game to override certain settings in your game, no matter what you have set up "in-game". Such as typing "-windowed" will run your IV in windowed mode no matter if you have fullscreen selected in the main menu. Like @TheChef said, there is no way to improve performance with a commandline.

I'll actually answer your request. I would suggest using the following.

-norestrictions

-availablevidmem 20

The rest is inside the game. I would suggest turning off vsync. Lower the resolution (resolution is a huge performance sucker). Then lower vehicle density to about 25. And the detail and distance to about 30 both. Make sure shadows are turned off and water is on low. I would also recommend that reflection resolution be off. Reply if you have any more problems.

Hi,

Sometimes commandlines can boost your performance. I found the best commandline I could online.

Note: This will set all of your settings to low causing very low resoluted graphics.

I also noted that some things in the commandline are repeated, you could change it if you wanted too.
