Ok. I'll re-update back to creators update and see if that works for me. Wish I would have saw that post first before downgrading.

So here is my issue. I was playing GTA 5 just fine. Then a couple days later my computer said it had to install windows 10 update and that I had pushed it off too many times (essentially forcing me to update to windows 10 creators update). Once it updated, I tried to play GTA 5 and rage hook loaded the game and we were good, but I noticed that it did not display the logo in the bottom right like it usually does. And then, when it goes to the loading screen, it did not display the loading box where it says what is loading at the moment. So, since I didn't want the windows update in the first place, I used the revert back to previous Windows 10 feature. After reverting, I'm still having the same issue. I have uninstalled all mods, even removed rage hook and lspdfr until it was just the game. I ran the integrity check to verify that the game was 100% there. I reinstalled just lspdfr and the newest ragehook version. I tried to boot the game and it did the exact same thing. But interestingly enough, if I run the game in windowed mode, rage hook works and I can use the mods no problem, but when in full screen it doesn't display the console or logos or anything. So with that in mind, I figured Directx or d3d wasn't properly initializing so I have tried all of the following with no luck: -Ensuring that the frame rate of my monitor and game are correct -Delete GTA 5 settings file -Reinstall Graphics Drivers -Verified and Installed all required assets (redistributables, etc.) for ragehook and lspdfr Does anyone know how to fix this?

Never mind. I fixed my own problem. If anyone has anything similar to this, remove the file xlive_d.dll. Leave the others but remove this one. If it still doesn't work then make sure that you have the Newest GFWL and find a post that lists everything that you need installed. Hope This Helps!

So, I have 4 copies of GTA 4 on my computer. I have a LCPDFR copy, a Firefighter mod copy, and a Multiplayer copy. The LCPDFR copy is for singleplayer uses only and was the actual original. Multiplayer wouldn't work on this copy even after I tried to install GFWL, reinstall the game, etc. Next, the firefighter mod copy was the second one I made (obviously for firefighter) and I uninstalled LCPDFR from that destination. Oddly enough, the multiplayer worked on this copy. Because I wanted to play LCPDFR online with my friends, I made an extra copy for LCPDFR multiplayer. I eliminated some scripts, placed original peds back, and lowered the overall "mod" count to the destination to a minimum. When I started it, the multiplayer wouldn't work and the GFWL wouldn't work when I hit the "home" button. I need someone to help me figure this out as to why I can't play LCPDFR online. I sign in through Social Club so that's not the problem. It seems to be LCPDFR stopping online play. Thank you for your help!

I'll actually answer your request. I would suggest using the following. -norestrictions -availablevidmem 20 The rest is inside the game. I would suggest turning off vsync. Lower the resolution (resolution is a huge performance sucker). Then lower vehicle density to about 25. And the detail and distance to about 30 both. Make sure shadows are turned off and water is on low. I would also recommend that reflection resolution be off. Reply if you have any more problems.

3 weeks ago, I was looking for some new ELS cars. I found one and attempted to install it. I installed it in the FBI slot turned on els for the slot and went into the game. Everytime I attempted to spawn the car it wouldn't work (the game would crash). I figured the model was corrupted as I found it from and unreliable modding site. I then found a different vehicle from the LCPDFR site and attempted to override the previous car. When I went back into the game and tried to spawn the FBI slot, the new car wouldn't spawn either and crashed. I was puzzled. So I proceeded to find another vehicle and replaced it into another slot (polpatriot). When I went into the game, the car spawned in that spot. Immediately after, I tried once again to spawn the FBI car. It failed again. I replaced the vehicles.img with a original one, but everytime I tried spawning an FBI vehicle, even the original one, the game would crash. Feeling defeated, I reinstalled all of GTA 4. I then proceeded to find one vehicle model and stay away from the FBI slot and installed it in the polpatriot slot. When I went into the game, I spawned the polpatriot and continued to play for quite some time. Later on, just because I was bored, I decided to spawn the FBI slot hoping to get the original FBI car. With amazement, the car that caused this entire problem spawned. I was confused because I never reinstalled this car and everything was set to original except for the car I put into the polpatriot slot. I exited the game and went to Open IV. When I clicked on the FBI slot, it showed the original FBI car, but for some reason the car from the very beginning spawns from nowhere. My question, after the long story, is how do I get rid of this car? Like I said, I have already reinstalled the game but somehow, now of course, it spawns. Thank you for your help!

I was just wanting to know if you could get something like this without an ENB? *I have already edited my visualsettings file and changed the other emissive to 85.0.

Please follow the steps below and report back if they fixed your problem: 1. Make sure AdvancedHook.dll and ScriptHook.dll are located in the GTA 4 directory. 2. Make sure you are running on LCPDFR 1.1 3. Also try removing any extra mods that may conflict with LCPDFR (braveheart, etc.)

Ok, so when I ran the LCPDFR diagnostics, I have an error on the system dependencies and it says MSVCP100.dll was failed to resolve? So is this what is causing LCPDFR not to work and how do I fix it?

I removed the xlive files and my game would not start. I clicked play offline and it just sat there and did not load the game. And I am running the game through "LaunchGTAIV" and as the administrator.

Seems like I am having problems with GTA 4 and LCPDFR not working well. A couple weeks ago LCPDFR stopped working out of the blue. And ever since I have worked on fixing it. I have reinstalled GTA 4 and LCPDFR multiple times. I did not install any mods (besides LCPDFR) while I was trying to get it to work. I made sure the game was updated. I even reset my whole computer hoping that it would fix my problems, but to my utter despair GTA 4 runs but LCPDFR doesn't. From what I understand, I think my problem is ScriptHook because the console does not load if you press the "~" key, but the simple native trainer works which is throught the asi loader. So from what I understand ScriptHook is not working right. So if anyone knows how to fix this please help me. I would like to start playing LCPDFR again. I will attach my directory photos and asi and script log. I do not have a log for AdvancedHookInit or ScriptHookDotNet. Please Note: I am running a legal copy of the game. I fully understand where you are coming from. And like I said I was just wondering if it could even be a possibility. My main point was you could have probably twice as many people playing it just because it would be easier for them to get and have it. I understand that it would be a lot harder to program into a console. And that's why I said if you could show Rockstar that they could get more people to play GTA 5 on consoles and PC because now you can play as a cop and do the complete opposite of what you have been doing, and once you can get the PC LSPDFR working exactly fine and have all the features that you could ever imagine on it, then I don't see why they could possibly pass up an opportunity like that to just port it over to consoles.

I'm sure everyone will see the title and be like, "That's not possible. This dude is an idiot." And I completely understand you thinking that. But just think about it. You could have a ton more players playing it, because you wouldn't have to worry about your computer specs and if you have everything installed correctly. I know porting stuff over is a lot of work, I understand. But if you would do it with every update and not wait until the last update to port it, then it won't be as much work because you would do it slowly at a time. Obviously you couldn't do car mods and all the other junk people would like, but it would give people that have less powerful computers a chance to play LSPDFR with decent graphics and not having to deal with FPS drops. I know this is asking a lot, I was just hoping the G17 Media team and the community members would read this and really give it some thought. You could definitely get more people to use it because a lot of people would love to play it on consoles. And another thing you all are probably thinking, even if we were able to get the mod to work on consoles, how are we going to give it to everyone without a jailbroken console. Well that's a good thought. One way is if someone would make a backup with the GTA 5 files and the mods that way we could install the modded backup on our consoles. Or option 2, G17 media and everyone that wants the mod to be on consoles, would have to sign a petition or something of the kind, and have Rockstar give it a thought. Obviously they couldn't release it as a regular update, but they could put it in the Playstation and Microsoft store as an add-on and people that wanted it could buy it. I know this is a lot to ask and don't go all crazy with comments, but just give it some thought and put what you think. If you have any questions just ask below and I will try to answer them.

Computer games are unique. Companies can do whatever they like, but there are tons of people that are smart enough to bypass any security that Rockstar would have against modding. Modding is a computer thing and will always be.

Hey. I recently updated from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1. I reinstalled GTA 4 and LCPDFR. I can play GTA long enough to go outside, press ALT+P, forceduty, and spawn a vehicle, then GTA crashes. I think it may have something to do with AdvancedHook because in the log file it has an error line. If you could help me figure out why it crashes it would really help! Please make sure you have the latest dsound.dll installed. You can find this in the manual install of the LCPDFR 1.0d folder. If you problem continues just reply.

I know you didn't say the GPU, I didn't mean it the way it sounded. I found another computer it has a MSI GTX 660 2gb and a i5-4440. Would this be a better setup to use? Could I get more FPS and play on high with this setup? I have a question. How important is RAM on playing games? The reason I am asking is because I found a video where someone was using the same Graphics card (GTX 660) and the CPU (i5-4440), and the video was actually pretty good and he ran around 40 - 50 fps. The only thing different was the RAM because he had 8gb and the computer stated above would have 16gb. So I was wondering if it would give me like a 5 - 10 fps boost for having double the RAM he does?
