Is there any mod that makes chases more exciting? 

The ones that is now that involves car trying to flee, is just broken, he sometimes goes to normal speed and its far too easy for me as a cop to put him into a stop

Well, if you do your chases realistically and if you want to keep them realistic, it is quite tough. I could stop any car too, but when I want to have a chase, I obviously just chase it without using force (until a point where I say: quite good situation and the pursuit was long enough too, so let's stop him.).

What I mean is that suddenly if there are some cars piling up infront, the suspect just goes to normal driving, almost stops probably due to the AI not aggressive enough, so sometimes me as a cop can just stop, zip a doughnut and take a piss then come back and see "oh he is on the move again"

Its just quite boring, I want my chasing to be full of speed, crashes and crazyness

Do you have the Keep Calm plugin? there was a bug with that and suspects would go slow (like regular traffic).  Remove that and you should get some fast chases.

Nah, what he's talking about is an unrelated issue (as far as I understand). I don't have Keep Calm, and experienced the same. At one moment the perp is doing like a hundred, and when he suddenly slows down and follows traffic.

It's just I consider this pretty realistic, because if a perp sees a car in front of him he might slow down to figure out where to go, and if he sees all the lanes occupied or if he approaches a junction, he will slow down for sure. You can even see this on Youtube pursuit videos.

I only have this issue at intersections, and even then; you cant do 120mph all the time. Most chases last only 2-3 minutes in real life, the ones in game I think are pretty good. I even get them to drive in oncoming traffic once in a while.

Yeeeeeeeah... I guesssss, but I still want the action packed part, sure its "realistic" but... Ah well, I guess this is how its going to be xD No point trying to argue to something that doesnt exist :P
