I have installed many vehicles to GTA IV and would like to do the same with GTA V. However when ever i put the files into OpenIV, the model viewer shows up blank! *With no vehicle*

How can i bypass this to install custom vehicles and not re-mapped ones!

Happens to me too, I'd love to know why. Also I can't even drag & drop files anymore, I have to manually replace each file. Which made installing the emergency uniforms pack a real pain in the ass.

It sucks! They need to bring out an OpenIV update or something!

They don't show up because when a model is locked that is a bug, it will still work in game

I was never able to drag and drop.

1. The vehicle you installed isn't showing because the model is locked. When a model is locked, you cannot see it when you view the file inside OpenIV. Trust me, the vehicle will show when you join the game & spawn it.

2. I also can't drag files into OpenIV. I must press the green "+" button and select the files. It is inconvenient, and I believe they should fix it, but it does prevent a couple errors you could do. (like dragging to wrong spot, dragging the files into a folder, etc)

You are right, currently OpenIV is unable to show zModeller locked models in GTA V, but it will be fixed in next version.

Drag and Drop may not work if you run OpenIV as administrator.

Is there a way to prevent people from using 3D Ripping tools in OpenIV? Or should I ask if you are doing anything or even if there is anything you can do? It's nice now because the programs used can't grab the mesh from OpenIV, people actually have to go ingame and rip the whole scene (streets, sidewalks, etc)

3D Ripping tools are not works with OpenIV.
