We've made a few very small changes to uploading files but I feel they deserve a small mention. This has been based on feedback sent to me.
 
Hidden files will stay hidden upon uploading a new version
If your file was hidden and you uploaded a new version of the file, and that file was flagged by our security systems as requiring manual approval, the act of approving the file would cause it to be shown. Instead, if you submit a change to a hidden file, even if it needs manual approval, the act of moderator approval will put your file back into a 'Hidden by Author' stage for you to unhide at a time of your choosing. This should make staging updates easier.
If this applies to you, upon trying to upload a new version, you'll see this at the bottom of the page.
 
You can now choose to mute notifications when uploading a new version
If you are making a small change, for example a small irrelevant bugfix or a small change to the changelog of your file, you now have the option of making sure notifications don't get sent to people. Please note that the updated date will still be bumped, though.

Upon submitting a file, you can now submit a file pre-hidden. This also incorporates the changes from 1) that if your file needs to be approved, it will be approved back into the hidden state for you to unhide later at a time of your choosing.

I beg to differ. If Take2 has these opinions on just OpenIV, then Scripthook, RagePluginHook, FR, 5m...they're all in danger now.

I recently made a very detailed video tutorial showing each steps (unedited videos), on how to create a firetruck from scratch on 3ds max, that can later on be converted to gta.
Creating a vehicle from scratch is time consuming. The average time spent on making a very detailed model is about 30 - 40 hours. not only do you need to master 3d, but you also need to be very good at photoshop (or The Gimp) to create textures.

It seems as though JJ has retired from modeling for now, if he comes back you may be able to download the files your looking for, or maybe pm him to see if you can get a download link for whatever it is you are looking for.

Most of this can be explained away by staff that login anonymously. They will not show as having been logged in since the last time they logged in non-anonymously.
It's a common practice that staff login anonymously, for many reasons, but one of them being that people can't gauge activity patterns and figure out when the best time would be to upload porn or something that violates our rules. Additionally, so that staff views don't show on profile pages for investigations and misc.
For a good example, you can see @willpv23's profile says last active Feburary 21, but you can see posts from Monday on the profile.

ive noticed and am pleased .. muahaha .. no but seriously im stoked u guys are , with the disclaimer to release our car models from ppl like myself onto GMC which im cool with so all is good in the land of dev parts  :D

Well yeah, it's not your money. Yet there's no reason to waste more money on something that's already coming.

I would like to say a few things before I go. It was a great run for the strong 4 years Ive been modding for the community and I would gladly like to continue but there comes a certain time in someones life where you have to make a tough decision. I have decided to grow up and move on with my life so I will no longer make mods for the community so please do not message me about why im leaving or to make you a private request it will be ignored. But if you wish to say fair well it will be acceptable. So I hope you guys continue to make the community stronger than what it already is.

Hopefully a lot of you have gotten around to playing the new Star Wars: Battlefront game, I personally have and it's an utterly brilliant game. They have really put a lot of effort into the Terrain system and really tried to make sure that both sides have similar resources so one isn't completely over-powered.
I've seen some problems with it, such as the Rebels barely ever winning on Hoth because the Empire get an AT-AT, and AT-ST. If they Rebels had more of an air superiority it would make it a bit more balanced however at the current state they dominate in all areas. Another big problem, probably the biggest is how Luke Skywalker has a Green Lightsaber even though as we all totally know on the Empire Strikes Back it was Blue. 
All jokes and issues aside, they have done really well, especially saying these days games are nearly always Sequels of a game made the previous year. With Star Wars they are creating a game which was last developed ten years ago, and they've done a brilliant job bringing that forward to the Next Generation of consoles and gameplay.
