I use Microsoft Paint for all of my textures. Works great.

I use Adobe Photoshop myself, however both GIMP and Paint.NET are good free alternatives.

Have either of you heard of zmodeler? If so, is that for texturing or modeling or both? 

 

Also, 1 more question (SORRY!!) I put in a crest/symbol into photoshop and then when I used the skin ingame that i put the symbol on, it had the white bordering around it ingame. I just wanted the symbol, no white around it.. How do I get rid of it? ;_;

Zmodeler is a tool for modeling. You can assign textures and UV map stuff, but you can't texture with it.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Show me how you've set up your layers in Photoshop.

He is asking help on how to work on a mod and asking help on what program to texture with is part of modding so i think it is a mod related question and/or info.

I use PAINT.net since i can't afford photoshop. Not as good but gets the job done.
