I just thought I would show you guys this Crown Vic, the model quality is really good with nice attention to detail inside & out.

Lots of you are asking where to get it, and this version is very very well done.

There's too many inconsistencies on the Driver: SF model. There's wood grain on the dash, while in Police Interceptors it's colored (gray, beige, or midnight black depending on interior color ordered)

Good quality, well done?

Not really...

The model itself is pretty crap, especially from being the direct D:SF port. The interior is also pretty crap, too. I think I'll wait for Cj24 to do his own later on down the line if I ever do feel like screwing with my game.

There's wood grain on the dash, while in Police Interceptors it's colored (gray, beige, or midnight black depending on interior color ordered), and a 120 MPH speedometer, which is only on civilian models, when it should be a 140 MPH speedometer. Yeah I'm going a bit far, but the OCD part of me wouldn't be able to handle it. Nice quality otherwise in terms of exterior.

Otherwise, thanks for sharing!

Hence why the schaefft model is the best and so is various others i will not name.

These words don't belong in the same sentence together. The Schaefft model is extremely in-accurate in comparison to the Driver: San Fransisco model. Why do you think that even Bxbugs123, the long time user of that model, went to the D:SF model too?

The dsf model is complete crap its to boxy and rigid compared to the other versions of the schaefft model. if the tail lights and boot were updated and the head lights and bumper too the model would be just fine.

At the moment, yes, the current one for V is not very good. Cj24's for IV was perfect however.

LOL that is how the real car is as well, the DSF model can't be beat as far as accuracy.

Its the best model i have ever seen in a video game. Then again i can only think of two games which have them, one of which is Driver, the other is Need for speed. NFS' models are always too narrow and tall

Agreed, but the tail lights and reverse lights bug me the most the DSF tail lights and reverse lights are too boxy and pointy:http://www.lcpdfr.com/screenshots/monthly_11_2014/09b69d0cc33019f49463564acd19fbc0-pic4.jpg

I do not like trash talking about modders hard work put into a car mod and would hold my thoughts in unless its constructive criticism but I want to drop my 2cents in this conversation and agree with Googleplex2010

I keep seeing versions of this CVPI and I'm hating it more and more. Dont get me wrong, I'm excited for cvpi mods to come out along with many other cars but I just can't stand the D:SF model. Its a nice model but it looks cartoonish and blocky for my taste especially the headlights and tailights/reverse lights .  I'd prefer Schaefft cvpi instead over the DSF CVPI.

The templates made for the D:SF model was complete pain in the ass to texture for GTAIV. There was not much room to work with because of that door trim/molding (whatever you call it) on the doors. Schaeft model was big in size and actually had room to work with. I know later on down the road the DSF model template was improved but the appearance still bugged the hell out of me.

Schaefft model on the other hand looks more realistic in my opinion. I don't care at all about interior accuracy as long as the steering wheel fits right with the hand positioning but everything on the exterior looks more realistic than the cartoony D:SF model.

Either way as much as I hate it I would still use it.

just my 2 cents on this. I'm going ghost now..

Is there a trainer that allows you to change liveries? Simple Trainer has the option but it doesn't seem like it does anything.

I figured it out thanks to:

http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/50909-adding-a-new-emergency-vehicle-is-possible-now/

In carvariations.meta I had to enable them and then add the FLAG_HAS_LIVERY in vehicles.meta.

Hi, I've been trying to install the mod that the OP posted, but where should I put the police files? Not in the x64e right? I know it's somewhere in the dlcs packages but don't know where. Thanks!

Mod page says Put to\x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\ , which I'd assume is correct but I installed it as a standalone. I think I like dbock's crown better (installed both) as it has LODs.

If you think this one is crap, go look at dblock's.
