I have searched a lot for any mod in development for LA Noire PC but found none.Some says that it is encrypted in such a way that it can't be modded.Some say they are not encrypted, we just need to get tools to extract the archives (.big files).I dont know.But what i definitely know is -

  1. We have such a large no. of talented modders that nothing seems impossible till now.

  2. LA Noire set in 1940-50's Los Angeles will be such a unique time period for this police community to go retro and do great police work.It has police station detailed interiors, a large no. of other interiors, coroner, emergency vehicles, police tools & what not.Hell even the games soundtrack is so appropriate!

So, a request to all the modders & tool developers out there....please show us some miracles!

I think there's just very little interest in it compared to GTA. I certainly have no interest whatsoever.

Yeah, i doubt a FR mod for LA Noire will happen. Like Cyan said people aren't interested in it enough. The game itself is law enforcement enough, theres no need for a mod. Plus the Free Roam features provides callouts.

I don't even think it's possible to mod LA Noire, I haven't seen someone create or release a mod for the game.

the specifics? Well for one, no tools have been created to mod LA Noire (most likely because they're encrypted and aren't able to be modified) and that nobody really has an intrest in LA Noire modding, unlike GTA, people play LA Noire for the story, not the mods. 

Indeed, the lack of interest is the main thing. 

It'd be quite "easy" to mod it - The files aren't really locked down at all, but we aren't interested in modding it. 

The very idea of it is very cool. But like everyone's said, there isn't a lot of interest in it. I prefer 21st century law enforcement anyway ;)

Nope, i don't believe so.. I've played both on PC on the highest settings and LA Noire runs a lot better than GTA 4 

I say all you'd need is a mod for the police uniform to the outfits section and you've got yourself an "official" police mod.

Thing is, no such mod exists.

Always wanted a LCPDFR for a game themed in the 50s or other game. But I suppose the developer of this mod has no interest in working with any other game except GTA.

Idk I think a FiveM/RP type mod would gain a lot of traction especially with the state of RP today. Even just a co-op mod would breathe some life back into this game.
