Hello,

After thwarting Rockstar's updates by launching the game with the internet unplugged until mods are updated again, yesterday for some reason--upon launching the Ragehook, GTA V said it needed to connect to the Internet to "activate," despite being activated since I installed it without issue. However to do that, I would have to go online which would update the game and break the mods.

So I went online to activate and it immediately started updating so I cancelled the update and then tried to launch but it said it was not activated again, and I had to update and now LSPDFR does not work and Ragehook does not recognize the version.

 

Any idea where I could get the files to downgrade from the patch? This is the latest patch that we are talking about.

Why do you need to downgrade? Version 0.2a of LSPDFR comes with the Rage Hook version that supports GTA V v393.4.

Besides, linking files like the executable aren't allowed.

Both Ragehook and Scripthook have been updated, you should be good to go.

As both FtDLulz and CaptainX3 have said, we're up to date with the latest patch now so there is/should be no reason to downgrade.
However should you feel the need to downgrade again in the future I recommend reading this: http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/52764-how-to-avoid-rockstar-updates/

We encourage users NOT to link downloads to the "patch" files for multiple reasons and as such any links will be removed.

Really? I installed 0.2a and the Ragehook says it does not recognize the game version.

I have confirmed my installation is indeed the latest version, but I still see the following error upon launching RAGEPluginHook:

 

 

My game version is 1.0.393.4.

 

I just tried updating to the very latest version of RAGE Plugin Hook from the Rage hook website and I still get the error.

I just did, I have the very latest version and still get the error.

try removing scripthookV from the game folder and see if gtaV will run.  I bet thats the only thing stopping your game.  Your ragehook and lspdfr are probably fine.
