So pretty new to this forum and have been playing LSPDFR non-stop for the last week or so, but I keep having trouble staying in character while playing. 

Just wanted to see if anyone has guidelines or rules that they follow while playing, I'm trying to put my own list together but keep running out of ideas. I've also been searching around trying to learn about proper protocol during various situations but can't seem to find anything lol.

(Wasn't sure if this is the correct section or not. If not then my apologies)

Um... I tend to just do what ever comes to mind. Tho you could check out peoples youtube videos to get a better view :D

Some people RP their game, some people don't. For me personally, i'm half. i follow rules and do things realistic like drive normally, pull people over for breaking the law, but when i'm in a pursuit or shootout i just do whatever, RP goes out the window.

LSPDFR is meant to be realistic.. but it's also meant to be fun, so you don't have to be like a real cop. just have fun with it =)

My "rules" are:

1. Don't get shot.

2. Don't get ran over.

3. Don't fly off my bike.

4. Always use excessive force.

3. I always fly of my bike.

It's your LSPDFR so your rules. If you feel like your getting out of character fix it. In my video, I try to be realistic as the game lets me and avoid all the exterior stupidity. It's hard to fall for the trap of getting mad or getting off track because so much happens in game. It's all you though, your game, your rules.

I just let the game come to me......Can't force who you are not...What happens happens.......

In pursuits things tend to get more insane based on how long it gets...
