Just curious i have a few mods that i installed through OpenIV

mainly things from the update.rpf side of things, i used the "mods" folder thing http://openiv.com/?p=1132

just wondering im assuming everything i done in OpenIV Has now been overwritten, with this "mods" folder is there an easy way to get those mods back faster?

No, you have to delete everything in the mods folder and re add everything.

Okay cool, first time doing it this way, how can i avoid doing this every patch then ?

because i dont want to have to reinstall the mods every time a patch drops :(

No, have a look in your mods folder, in OpenIV look at the files you changed, and it should not say encycripted next to them, if this is the case, your mods are fine.

GTA V will always load from the mods folder's update.rpf etc and ignore the regular game ones.

Your main concern should be ScriptHook and RAGE needing to be updated.

SUMMARY

===========

ScriptHook = handles your .asi mods which are in your main game directory...which wont get touched when the game updates.

RAGE = handles your plugin mods including LSPDFR....which wont get touched either.

Your custom MODS folder (that you make) = is where you put your modified game files, which wont get touched either, the game loads from these instead of the main game versions.

can u send a link?   How do u update the scripthook v that came with LSPDFR 0.2 ?     The link that google pops up is AB software or whatever but does not allow me to download the scripthook..

This is the link for ScriptHook: http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/

You can also find it here: https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/script-hook-v

The first two results in Google: http://puu.sh/j6RUu/d1722b0d8f.JPG (search link)

ScriptHook is not what LSPDFR uses, and is not packaged with LSPDFR. That would be RagePluginHook, which has not been updated to work on the latest patch yet.
