Uh, yeah, that's the point of the mod. It's designed to be pretty easy to add your own set.

@The Loot: 1. Did you get the revised DLL? 2. Nice set you have there!

CP,you'll be having missing textures in-game,no? I mean, with all the els and HQ poly cars responding everywhere....?

The cars don't necessarily all respond. By default, 30% do. In the DLL I put on 4shared, the user instead specifies the probability of an emergency spawn (in a scale from 0 to 1). You don't need emergency spawns at all; some of my most fun experiences in LCPDFR have involved patrolling SWAT teams jumping into a chase and arresting the suspect at rifle point.

The impact of this on your computer really depends on what you want it to be. Use default cars, and there should be very little performance hit. Use low probability of spawning, and likewise. Use ultra-common spawns of 500,000 poly ELS v6 cars doing emergency responses...just make sure to call 911 as you run from the fire consuming your computer.

LOL! I don't live in the Americas,so not really 911,but 101 here.

The 0.6 isn't approved yet,so I need a readme.I'll download the 4shared one since I can't wait to get it.

This mod wasn't intended originally to make *just* responding vehicles; there's only a 30% chance of response. 0.7 will have controllable chance of response; for now, a version with that is here: http://www.4shared.c...awnCarsnet.html

This doesn't have any of the other stuff, just the DLL. Still download the LCPDFR.com version for updated readme. Also, in your ini, change "Response" from "True" to 1.0 for all the sets.

Sounds good. I knew that it was a small chance of the vehicles being in response mode, but it was better than the normal 0% chance without the mod. If I set it to "1", does that mean they ALWAYS respond?

1. Did you get the revised DLL? 2. Nice set you have there!

Just got back from work, I'll go ahead and grab it to test pretty soon. And indeed, I made sure to get most every combination I could think of with all the possible vehicles/peds. I've got an idea to change my chances around to make things a litte rarer.

With the revised DLL, making it 1 should make them always respond. The 0.6 here doesn't have that, because it's not quite tested enough yet; the one on 4shared does.

CP,it ain't approved even after waiting for a whole f***in day.Give us an alternate download link.I told ya I can't wait.

I don't know what your problem is or why you feel the necessity to curse, however Traffic Spawner 0.6 BETA was approved today at 12:31 (2 minutes after the mod was uploaded) and is available for download. If that isn't fast enough for you, please feel free to go somewhere else to whine.

Also, would you mind cutting the cursing a bit? At this point I'd like to remind you of the Community Guidelines, which state:

Profanity

Whilst we understand that GTA IV is an 'M' rated game (BBFC 18), many of our members will however be under the age of 18. In order to maintain a healthy atmosphere we ask that profanity (swearing) is kept to a minimum. Those who use vulgar or profane language frequently may face disciplinary action if required.

Every other guy is churning out skins these days,so the front page downloads tab gets filled faster than you can take a look at it,ya know. Thanks for the link,though.+1

As for swearing,I was really annoyed at how much time you were taking to approve a simple mod like that.Accept my apologies on that word.I'm going to edit it now.

Updates don't seem to go to the "New Downloads" bar, which is probably why you didn't see it there.

Great trying this right away on my EFLC!

EDIT: Bloody hell, can not download it. 4shared wants me to sign in/register.

*Disappointed face

Oh! I did not see that download! It wasn't listed in the newest downloads list. Sorry, but thanks anyways!

The 4shared version was a special version to let you set the chance of an emergency response. I'll put it on MediaFire; I didn't know 4shared needed registration now. I just didn't think it justified another update in the DL section; it will be fully integrated into the next update, though.

EDIT: Damn it, I just checked, and I think I put up an old version. Newer one en route. I feel REALLY embarrassed.

Are you talking about the one in the downloads section? Thats why I wondered why it still said 0.5 in the ini.

  • Author

That version is now correct. It says 0.5 in the ini because I forgot the ini had a version number.

I kind of suck at organization; sorry. The DLL is correct if the ini included has "Response = 0.3" instead of "Response = True".

  • Author

Yep. It used to be fixed at 30%; now, you set the probability (so, for example, you might make it so that SWAT vehicles spawn responding 90% of the time).

Oh! So whats different in the 4shared one? AFAIR,you said it was the same thingy?

EDIT: And I still don't get the Chances of spawn. It'd have been great if you did the same to chances (as you did in response)
