PC BUILD SPECS FOR GTA IV AND GTA V

Featured Replies

I was wondering if anybody had anything close to the specs that i have here and if they had any issues with gta iv and gta v as the reason for the GTX 980's is for the fact of using the most powerful enbs created so far *cough...nutts settings..*cough as well as having a little more graphics power never hurt for future runs.

First of all, is this a joke? Like, of course it's going to run GTA.

But get 980ti's or AMD Fury X's instead of the 980s. 980s are a waste of money at this point, if you haven't built it yet.

This is waaaaaay overkill. If you expect this to run with NO stability problems... you're very wrong. There are WAY cheaper options out there that can run GTAIV and GTAV for way less and at great performance.

First of all it's a bit too overkill for a game like GTA 5. Secondly if you do desire to run the game not maxed out but at high settings, you could simply get an AMD FX-6300 or a Haswell Intel Core i5 CPU and pair it up with a graphics card like a R9 270 or a similar Geforce GTX GPU. 8GB is good enough for this game.

Here's an example of a build that will run the game at high settings without much problems:

it all might seem like over kill but the reailty of the whole thing is that ENBS are very resorce demanding secondly i also do my own modding for gta iv as well thirdly i also do have my own video software for gta iv uploading last but not least the overkill as it seems is do to the future gaming on pc as i build for the next 5 yrs out so ya also i know that there are cheaper options out there i was just wondering if anybody has had loss of performance with the cards im gonna use and the processor

Dude, its still overkill.

I run a potato for GTA IV, with High Settings, ENB, full car pack at stable 30 fps.
Are you trying to run real life? You can't run real life yet!

P.S - Check my About Me for specs.
