Since I've tried installing this mod, i've been unable to successfully load LCPDFR 1.1. My game can run properly even with the mod installed. I get the message -->                                            Error in script LCPDFR_Loader.Loader

I know that message doesn't mean much because it's very generic. 

I've attached 3 of the 4 demanded logs, but I am unable to find AdvancedHook.log. Maybe that's the source of my problem. I've also attached the log file from the diagnostic tool. I also took a screenshot of the results. Everything seems fine but the log file

I am currently not using any other mods. 

I've tried Ineseri's http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/50143-how-to-get-support/ but I am uncapable of turning my "GTA IV root folder and every subdirectory" into a not read-only folder. I right click the folder, go to Properties, and uncheck the Read-only box, and click apply to everything, and then OK. It seems to work but when I open that same properties setting, it's still filled with blue. It acts like it's by default read-only, and unable to be unchecked. 

• I am using Windows 7 Professional 
• Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU         540 @3.07Ghz  3.06 Ghz
• 4 G of RAM
• 32 Bits
• 4,8 Rating by Windows 

I know, my computer might be slow to some people but it is able to run GTA IV.

I have a feeling this problem is easily fixed, like other people who simply tried the manual version, and wow it worked. I've tried pretty much everything that I came across that looks similar to this. Specificaly, i've tried - downloading Manual - Redownloading .NET 4.5 - Redownloading C++ - Redownloading GTA 4 - Redowloading LCPDFR at least 50 times - And hours and hours of research, as you can see, im desperate. 

It also could possibly be I've forgotten something, please let me know. I'm going to review this and make sure I have everything that is demanded.. Thank you.

I'm having the same issue, but I can't even get the Diagnostic Tool to open so I can see what the problem is. Hopefully someone will know the solution.

Is it just me or is the LCPDFR.log printed backwards??? :/ And from what I can see, I think I can confirm the AdvancedHook.dll is the main problem. LCPDFR needs this file, it is essential... And it isn't working. Try using the AdvancedHook.dll from an ELS V8 download (http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/2985-emergency-lighting-system-iv/) If that doesn't work, use the LCPDFR one. As for the read only thing, that doesn't affect the game, I get it too and it runs fine. One note is to always run your game as administrator (Right click on the shortcut, click Properties and then go to the 'Compatibility' tab and tick 'Run as Administator' (note you may have to do this on the actual GTAIV.exe file)). And your PC Specs, Amen bro! I feel you :) Here are some performance increases for the game:

Go to Task Manager, then the Services Tab, then right click 'Windows Event Log' and disable it.

I use all these, and the work amazing. Please download this PC spec viewer (https://www.piriform.com/speccy) and tell me what it says in the 'Graphics' section. Then I hve a link for you if it is the right stuff... (Don't worry it isn't a worthless piece of adware xD)

And when I get to my PC tomorrow, I will post my commandline. I have and integrated GPU as well... And a terrible dual core CPU. I get no texture loss and stable 30FPS at 720p. I will also attach the settings... Hope all this works ;)

Thank you so much for your advice, I'll get on it immediatly. I'll try the ELS AdvancedHook. For the FPS boost, I'll give it a try after solving my main problem so I don't corrupt anything or tamper with my GTA IV just in case xD.

hey guys. just checking in to see if everybody is okay. if you use the ELS Advanced Hook please use ELS v8.5 and not ELS v8.0 also try using Xlive instead of dsound. let me know how things are going and i'll check back soon.

Hm, seems like there is still a problem with the ELS v 8.5 AdvancedHook. I'll post all my logs after transfering of the ELS files.

okay do me a favor. remove els completely. then try your game and see if it runs with the police mod only. that way we know for sure if its the Advanced hook.

k did you try keeping dsound and just removing the advancedhookinit like Will was talking about? your problem is so simple but its causing so many problems :( hopefully we'll get this sooner than later lol.

Sorry i'm not the best with mods lol. I know you might be bit fustrated with my lack of skill but I had to hurry to go to the gym this morning. I'm on it

Ok so I tried Dsound without AdvancedHookinit and still no. Could someone explain so I understand my own problem lol, you said its simple. From what I understand AdvancedHookInit won't initiate.

When's the last time you tried playing LCPDFR? The logs' time stamps say June 6th 2015.

I've never got LCPDFR to work. I haven't played GTA IV in a while because I gave up  for a bit.

Ok, so all I did was remove AdvancedHookInit.asi, It says it's not working properly, but my mistake was to not start the game and find out for myself.
