haha my bad I guess my signature didn't work I put them in there. Anyway heres the specs

Amd fx8120 3.1GHz 8 core (i havent tried overclocking it yet i really dont think ill need too)

Gigabyte 970A-UD3 Mobo

8 gigs Kingston hyper x ram

Asus hd6770 1gb gddr5

Corsair gs600w psu

Wait, why did you get the radeon HD 6770, and not the Radeon HD 7770? You're already a year behind! Other than that, its a pretty good PC build. Isn't 8-cores a little overkill, though? I've always thought that games right now are only beginning to use six cores....... You probably are playing GTA IV pretty smoothly with that rig, though.

Yes, but there's nothing wrong with being future proof though ey?

Give it a couple of years and games will be using all 8 cores.

Games today use between 1 to 4 cores. And the low clock speed of 3.1ghz could be a problem as a lot of newer processors are hitting the 4GHZ mark. I would have stuck with a 6 core of higher clock frequency.

MODERATOR NOTICE

Going to go ahead and close this thread as well since you got your point across and we now have a new PC building/buying/recommendations thread that we have pinned at the top.
