I installed all files except "licenses" and "SDK" via the instructions and ran RageHook.exe as an admin and hit F4 in game but nothing pops up. I have the latest release as well. Can I have some help before LSPDFR gets released.

Make sure you either launch the game with RAGEPluginHook.exe, or run it after GTA V is already started. RAGEPluginHook.exe must be running. For me, it only works if I open it after launching the game.

What does ragehook log file in your GTAV directory say? And while the game is loading up do you see the ragehook splash screen when getting to the title page before clicking story mode?

I have splash screen disabled. But when I run the ragehook.exe it gives me the logo and stuff before launch. And there is no log present.

Crashes my game if I run the ragehook.exe because it's trying to launch the game again. Also now a log is present.

If you're having trouble starting RAGE Plugin Hook here's a list of things you should try before posting a new thread.
After each step, try to launch RAGEPluginHook.exe again.
 

1. Kill Fraps.
2. Right click all .exe and .dll files that comes with RAGE Plugin Hook, click Properties, then click the Unblock button.
3. Run RAGEPluginHook.exe as Administrator (Right click > Run as Administrator).
4. Uninstall any other mods that comes with .dll or .exe files (All, or one by one, to identify which one is causing a conflict).

IMPORTANT NOTICE ON USER ACCOUNT CONTROL
If you have UAC (User Account Control) activated it will interfere with the launch of the game. (UAC is the popups you get, where the background tints and Windows asks you to answer Yes or No).

The solution is to either disable UAC (Which is not a problem if you have a proper anti-virus (If you don't, I'd recommend Avast)).
If you don't want to disable UAC for whatever reason, you'll have to run the game manually, as admin (Right click GTAVLauncher.exe (for Steam version) or PlayGTAV.exe (for the retail version) > "Run as Administrator".
Then once the game has booted (when the Rockstar logos are playing, or any later point), run RAGEPluginHook.exe as admin (Right click > "Run as Administrator").

Yeah I got it fixed now. Was with the guys on teamviewer and got it fixed. Pretty much followed all those steps.

Glad you've got it fixed. The ragehook was updated to fix a few crashes and errors by the way, just a little while ago.

I gave up on it :/ for today that is it gave me a headache :D

 

 

Just a question...It says:

RAGEPluginHook fix.sorry for posting here but ive looked everywere to fix this my self and this was the only forums a lot of people were asking the question.so here is the fix

1 download latest update version 0 40521 2217 alpha

2 double click gta 5 exe

3 wait for game to load

4 hold alt and press tab

5 the right click and run as admin the RAGEPlugin Hook exe

6 then open gta 5 window (go back into game) on bottom left hand corner then in game press f4 and shazam

What did I say earlier... This would not work for most users, because of the  Rage Plugin Hook. And most users cannot ALT+TAB GTA 5 to start Rage, because it gets into a  infinite black screen loop! The Rage Hook was a bad idea.

Thanks so much "JETY2011", my games crashes very since I got it and also installed the LSPDFR, But after I read your post on Rage Plugin website, I did exactly what you said..Only that I ran gtaV.Launch.exe normally not as Administrator and  ran RagePlugin as an administrator as you said my game works not just perfect but  loads pretty fast now tho.....Everyone have same problems sorry..But you can run your game the same way I did if you are having crashing problems with the rage hook crashing right after the logos....

I will say depends on were your game crashes,  my game load but doesn't show anything after loading the rock stars logos.....but when I run rage plugin hook as an administrator, while the screen is still all blank the game automatically continues to load.....But try this reinstall your game and don't change no setting, just install the rage plugin with the 1.0e files and don't forget to unblock the dll"s...Run gtaVlauncher.exe...when it loadsm it might go blank, then run rage hook as an admini...
