Recently a woman by the name of Marid Duran is suing the famous company Ebay claiming that she has rights to the sun, at first she attempted to make a sales saying she will sell one square meter each for one euro, much to her surprise eBay refuse to this sale stating that you cannot sell intangible goods. However this did not stop her, not only did she create her own website continuing the sales, she is suing eBay for 10,000 euros. Her case will be held in court and the final decision will be made by the courts.

What a fucking idiot. There should be a common sense aptitude test before being allowed to use the Internet. A waste of time, money, and resources over this. Hopefully she loses the case.

There's a clear reason why she's doing this:

"The story notes that Duran is framing her sun fight as a statement against the corporate world and promises that any profits will go to charity."

 

However, it still violates eBay's agreement and suing the company is pretty ridiculous.

she claims that the money will go to charity and when she gets it, puts it in her back pocket. 

This is on the level of the gal who sued Disney because she claimed Frozen was based on her life.
