Website crashes on mobile

Featured Replies

I've been experiencing some issues with the website crashing on its mobile version. The crashes usually happen when on a topic with more than 30 replies, when browsing the forum while not connected to wifi, or responding to a large quoted post. The effect of these crashes vary from a crash back to my browsers home screen, or a crash back to my device home screen altogether. I am currently using the website with the Dolphin Browser, a very similar setup to Google Chrome. I've never experienced any issues with crashing in the past. The reason why I suspect it may be tied to this website specifically is because I only experience crashes on LCPDFR.com. It might be something on my end, or it might now. Either way I just wanted to give the development team a heads up.

Do you have a decent phone?

I currently use the iPhone 6, and I have access to a Samsung Galaxy S6. These are the newer phones in the United States at the moment, so I assume that they are decent phones. I get the same crashes at the same times on both devices.

I can't replicate this on my phone. Either way, this is an IPS4 bug, so I'll file a bug with them and report on any progress made.

Just a thought, sometimes during the day the website runs a bit slow on my laptop. I think when the site runs a little slow on my laptop, when I use my phone it causes a crash. I'm not sure and I haven't tested this but just something I thought about. I'll test it and see if it's true when I can. Thanks for the responses.
