Is this an actual police department?

Featured Replies

..........Really? Of course it isn't! Any police website that has forums or viewable usergroups are fake and made for RP purposes! Compare this to an actual PD website and there should be no question that this is fake! */facedesk*

From the looks of it, it's an RP clan. Read the fine-print at the bottom;

"All material hosted on this website is a property of the Los Santos Police Department which are properties of FoCo Gaming"

My personal inbox is not the support forum. I don't mind helping  you with your issues, but you are responsible for your research.  I am not a page in a manual, Google, or the forum search function - look through all three before asking.
A link to a handy how-to guide for getting useful solutions to your problems, and useful answers to your questions. A lot of it may seem irrelevant, but it outlines some great practices to use when seeking answers or solutions.

It's the PD forum for the SA:MP RolePlay server Los Santos RolePlay (LS:RP). they have that and the SD forums aswell.

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

LOL didnt read the bottom part till now. I mean cmon it does look pretty legit and the URL.

You don't take a look often at police websites do you? No legit police websites have forums that displays its ranks and private files, a fact right there. They don't even contain a forums. And one thing to always remember: LSPD, Los Santos, San Andreas, these types of names ARE made up by Rockstar, so if they are called something like that they aren't legit. Ignore the URL. No matter how legit it may look if it doesn't add up with above facts it isn't legit. I hope this helps.

There's no need to jump on someone for thinking that was a legitimate website - it was made professionally, it may look legit at first glance but obviously it's not.

San Andreas exists, just not in the capacity you're thinking of.

I meant San Andreas as in a State, similar to Los Santos as a city. These things do not exist. And if there are websites representing governments and police departments and the like of these things, the fact stands by default they are not real is what I am getting at. I guess I didn't explain it clearly enough. Well that is how I meant it. And made professionally? Man you must not view many police sites either, clearly you could tell it was off given it displays private files and the like that standard police websites would not contain, and again no police websites have forums as far as I have seen so that enough is more than enough proof it isn't legit. All it would take would be a quick glance to an actual police website and back to that one and it should have told you it wasn't legit. Eh oh well, such is life I guess.

I mean idk i thought US cop websites might be different.

sheriffsaad Los Santos is based off of Los Angeles California. Los Angeles PD, aka Los Santos PD, Los Santos County Sheriffs Office, aka Los angeles County Sheriffs office. Just like Liberty City in GTA 4 was based on NYC.

I mean idk i thought US cop websites might be different.

Hmm then next time, search up a US based cop website and take a look at it, then view a website you question and if it looks nothing like it, it isn't legit. Most US cop websites look the same and NONE of them display the previous facts I mentioned, none of them have forums, none of them have their police files and ranks displayed in forums, nothing like that. And like the guy above me had also said, if it is something based off of Rockstar like San Andreas or Los Santos and the like it isn't real, also like I had said, alright?

Okay let's stop with the demeaning comments. The man asked a question, and it has been answered. No need to try and ridicule anyone for asking a question.
