  • Well, My PC gets 7mb/s out of my 8. Navigating the site still has a delay...

Posted Images

Usually the website does hesitate for a second or more when navigating to another page, and my internet connection is capable of playing a YouTube video at 720p HD with no stuttering (I think that's good).

If all the time is busy, then fine... XD.

8 Mb/s. Runs 1080p60 fine.

I have the same problem, but i know it's not my PC, internet or browser, because all other websites i go to on a daily base do work as intended. I use Chrome as a browser, so might be something with that. Will try with Safari and/or Firefox later today. But i always assumed it was the LCPDFR Gallery that got me the slow loading time here.

To those having issues, try clearing your browser cache. And keeps things like Java and Adobe softwares up to date. Also, do the staff know where the server locations are? The problem could be that some users could have an ocean between the server location and the user's location, especially since the site uses Javascript and has several pictures at the top of most webpages

Still happening, Mobile Chrome. I'll try others now.

Mobile you say? Are you using celluar data? That could be the reason, as celluar data isn't the fastest connection to the internet

Ah, we've found the culprit. Your internet speed is... how do I say this... slower than a stoned turtle (No offense). Not to mention that other devices could be using your internet so you're probably not even getting 1Mb/s on your device. And if your using a phone, then try clearing all background applications to clear up some RAM. But my biggest suggestion is to upgrade your internet

His connection speed it isn´t his problem, I think lcpdfr hosting is bad, because i have 100mb/s and the server doesn´t work usually, maybe it is slower for me because I'm from Spain, but having 100 mb...

How about me? Sometimes I have 45+ kb/s (well, for some 15-25 days?) and then after that 25 days 15 days it will be like 7kb/s? Hmm.. and I can load lcpdfr.com perfectly. speed measured from downloading on Chrome...

This is my Speedtest results:

The new site is very JavaScript intensive, so if you have a low-end computer, use Internet Explorer, or use a lot of plugins (adblocking plugins are a major culprit, if you're going to adblock at least use something like uBlock) these can all have a factor loading the site.

Connection speed, should frankly, not be an issue (except perhaps on first load pre-caching). Our main web frontend server is in North America, so latency shouldn't be an issue for 90% of our userbase.
When I was in Japan last month, I had no issues loading pages and the site loaded continuously in under a second - mostly because we tell your browser to cache all of JavaScript, CSS and images for least 6 hours.

Forum support for something like speed issues is frankly, pissing in the wind, as there are numerous issues which could be causing it. It could be a problem with the speed between your ISP and ours, it could be an issue with one of your addons, your firewall or antivirus could be interfering, another application could be interfering, your router could be interfering, our security systems could be interfering and I could go on and on. If you'd like to investigate this further, feel free to send us a ticket for support.

Weird internet connection. Never seen one so slow. Or one that has a faster upload speed than download speed. Regardless, I can practically guarantee that you aren't loading these pages perfectly. The pictures at the top of the page alone are hundreds of kilobytes, and since there are several of them it'll take you minutes just to load that part of the page

P.S. Might want to hide that IP in the bottom left

Not sure if this is becauseof the restart but, theres a 3-5 sec delay before my kindle loads the site, and then also (according to my download speed app) only downloads at 50 to 100kb/s, defiantly not my connection.

As I said, other devices could be using your internet which means you don't get the full 1 MB/s. Some devices use the internet without you even knowing it
