i recently had to delete my old gta 4 folder and remod my backup.Now whenever i accept a call, try to command someone or add a partner gta 4 freezes. Doesn't crash just freezes.

Anyone know of a fix or the cause?

i think it may have something to do with steam. as i recently bought gta 4 off steam because i lost my gta 4 disc

Do you just have LCPDFR installed or other mods too?

​others too but they were all the same from before.

Install only LCPDFR and see if it works. If it does, try adding your previously installed mods one by one, and check in game to see if it still works every time you add something to the game. You can't magically know what is causing this.

When installing mods, even if you've had them working previously, you should always install one, check if GTA works. Then install another and check if GTA still works and so on.

If something went wrong during the installation of any of the mods you have installed, it could be causing this issue and there's no way to determine what it is.

Could you post the LCPDFR logs please?

ok the silent update worked but soon after it crashed but it may just be nothing. allot of times it will crash after i install  new mod

Was it a particular type of mod you installed or any mod? Some vehicle mods that have been poorly created can cause errors, as can lots of ELS vehicles.
