Hello Everyone I purchased my copy of GTA V and I found it to be awesome, however I am already starting to see pirated version of the game. Supposedly, razor games has leaked the game back on the 8th of January. People have downloaded it today and have found it to be successful according to their comments. My question is, how is that possible if the game wasn't released until today?

People could start to pre-load(download the install files) of the game on the 7th.

If you mean that they leaked a version of the game back on Jan. 8th, then who cares. That version isn't the finished product and most likely doesn't have all the features that the finished version does have. Regardless, every game is going to get pirated. Period. It's the sad reality. And it's not just PC games, console games can easily be pirated too. Game dev's have a few ways to help prevent pirating and ways to fight it, like activation codes for example. But pirates gonna pirate. 

Someone close to a Rockstar Games Dev released it? idk how games get leaked before their release.. Most likely the same way GTA V prologue go leaked and posted on YouTube before it's release date. 

Plus some of the people commenting that it works are most likely bots to get you to think it works and download it.. which then turns into a virus.

yea but they still cant play it . no crack.

These people who are saying it is "successful" are nothing but the uploader trying to bait people.

The likelihood of it being real is near to slim.

1.  A Rockstar Dev leaked it (Highly doubted)
2. Some people made a GTAV.exe and it played the prologue scene, which is actually a R.A.T. Virus or Trojan.

There was most likely no "Crack" or "Free Hacked" version of the game. Only versions that were made by hackers to get into your computer, most likely with a Remote Access Trojan (RAT). Trojans like that can devastate your PC.
