You can't, sadly. Well, not that I know of... Possibly in future versions, which I don't think is going to happen, due to the creater no longer having time.

There is no way to turn off the "God like mode" That happens when you turn on ELS lights, The mod is pretty much refreshing the vehicle and spawning the lights over and over again, So its basically how it works (Pretty sure, This is coming off the top of my head here), So in short, No way to stop the "God Like Mode" When lights are on.

I don't know why people hate that so much. If you play LCPD:FR vanilla you can easily wreck your cruiser in one chase, after which you either have to ditch your car and jack a new one, or use the repair cheat to fix it. I don't think any of the three options area realistic.

Why would you shoot from your car anyways? The driver should, well, be driving!

I'd be upset by that but drive by shooting defaults to an uzi which police patrolmen don't carry. Furthermore that's not really something you should be doing while driving. I've seen the police do it with a pistol or a shotgun on a rare occasion but it can endanger the public as well as yourself.

With a driveby you can take out the vehicles tires, making it easier to push it off the road and take it down better.. This is not possible if you can shoot the tires beacuse of ELS.

Dont get me wrong. I love it absolutely but its real annoying having this "feature" all the time.

As I stated above, it's very rare these days as shooting out tires while moving is extremely dangerous, especially if there are any civilians in the area. Thats why police agencies use stop sticks.
