I work Corrections.

 

I work in 72^o climate controlled temps inside year round while the road guys are sweating it out under 15lbs of gear in the hot summer or freezing in our all too common blizzards in the winter.

 

And I get free food too.

definitely K9 or detective of some kind.  cuz i love dogs, i have an unhealthy obsession with unmarked vehicles, and i like interesting specialty roles o and puzzles.

 

K9, but I'd never actually respond to anything, I'd just go to cool places with my sidekick dog and pat it gently on the head.

 

so basically you should be a k9 officer at a big university, where most of what you do is drive/walk around while the dog gets all the hugs from the students XD  thats what happens here all the time, and our cops are real cops not rentacops

Patrol or Tactical. However, if we are talking about any type of Law Enforcement, I'd be NCIS - Naval Criminal Investigative Services - Pearl Harbor, Honolulu Hawaii.

I plan on doing patrol for the first 10 years of my career, if not my entire career. The reason for this is because I enjoy every seconds of my ride alongs w/patrol. If an officer would like to do some traffic he can. He is not obligated to simply do traffic for his entire shift, however he can if he chooses to. That is what I want. I don't want to be bound to it. I also enjoy the work K9 does and I enjoyed my ride along with the K9 Handler too. Their role is the same as I described above. They do normal patrol duties until a K9 is needed. That also interests me.

Well my choice is sort of difficult. Some departments have these as sworn members, others just have them as civilian staff.. But i'd like to be part of the CSI/Forensic team. (which i actually plan to do IRL). if that isn't an option.. then just your standard patrol unit (General Duties known here in Aus).
