Police Computer and testing Menu not working properly

Featured Replies

Hey there,

Before I state my question: Yes, I've already tried to find any topics which are regarded to my issue, but that's not the case.

When I'm sitting in my police car, press "E", The LogIn screen of the Police Computer appears. But, just the written lines and I can't do anything just driving my car away but that doesn't help because the camera view freezes at his current position and the car drives away. I shot 3 screenshots which help to make you understand what my exact problem is:

I ran the diagnostics tool (As Admin). It gave me no errors, but to be sure I will post it for you:

Yes, but I think that does everyone here.

I have this police car installed and ELS.

Today I completely reinstalled GTA4. just because I damaged some files with mods. On the clean Install of GTA 4 I installed LCPDFR 0.95 RC2 - same problem as now, but at this time I had no other mods installed, so I don't think that my problem is caused by other modifications.

As you can see on the pictures there is no mouse cursor. I tried already to set the sensitivity higher, but nothing worked.

As said before, the same situation with the Testing Menu (ALT+F12)

EDIT: Yep, you are right. ENB was installed before the first test run with LCPDFR. I try to delete this and report if it solved the problem ;)

Edited by jodlherz

It's your ENB.

Yeah, ENB causes that problem. I had the same issue, once I took it out, everything worked fine. It's something to do with the ENB shaders.

Change "force resolution =" to false in ENB . ini There is another entry next to it as well but I can't recal what is says and I don't use it anymore. It's the force of resolution change that does this.

It might be force anti AA as well

The same thing happens if you change the resolution after starting the game even withoout ENB

Edit: Also the troubleshooter asked you if you were using other mods !

Haha it's too late

I just deinstalled GTA 4 completely to start over again :D Well, ENB will be banned from my computer :D

It only occurs on some ENB, I think, that like the posters above said, it has to do something with the ENBs that force a higher resolution.

Good Move.

There are other mods out there that can give the same effect of EnB and not cause any problems, simple timecycle.dat edit's can make a world of difference.

I've just tested out a awesome one for EFLC, you can see the results later when I post the video.

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

Yeah, you can use RealityIV 1.62 - It gives pretty awesome effects. I combine it with a 0.072 ENB, which only cleans the reflections and it looks awesome.

Okay after reinstalling, I tried it without ENB -> works fine.

But I do not get missions. Only when I press ALT+F11. Without pressing that, I can drive 20 minutes and nothing happens.
