The Nightshift [New Video]

Didn't bother going for a high quality resolution this time round, sorreh.

First patrol video, most likely my last. Working on something more epic.

Okay, I lied, here's another video showcasing a awesome lighting mod I downloaded:

Watch it in 1080p fullscreen.

New video showcasing my LVMPD skin;

Watch in 720p.

I like this video! One question- why didn't you accept any callouts? The traffic stops in LCPDFR are engaging enough, but since you are FIB, I would think you would accept some. It doesn't matter anyways, since you are doing bigger projects!

P.S.- I just filmed some video with a Corvette before reading this thread. What a coincidence! :P

I ignored most of them because of two reasons:

1. It's always the same ones

2. There was a traffic violation every time I finished a traffic stop

Ah, I see now. They do get kind of repetitive, especially in the main area of Algonquin. I found it funny how it always seems to be the taxis that attempt to evade and give you a run for your money! How do you have so much traffic without the taxi bug? Do you use TrafficFlow/TrafficLoad?

Traffic Flow.

Also set a high ratio on the ChanceOfRandomDispatch in the .ini to stop the annoying ambulances.. even though it is a awesome siren, it'll eventually send me insane

Nice vid harper, might have to give that Corvette a shot sometime. Since you didn't know how to get people out of a stopped car, here's the trick:

Get in as driver and quickly get out again. That makes the passengers leave, but be ready to chase them.

Updated, new video added.

Cheers Break, I'll keep that in mind for any future videos I decide to do.

Nice video! Was that lightiing mod you used a timecycle mod or a visualsettings edit? I found it kind of ironic how you had to kill an officer to attempt to arrest the suspect inside the vehicle, but then you had to kill the suspect because he pulled a shotgun on you! I was really surprised when you had to arrest one of your own, also, not to give any spoilers. Have you considered turning auto aim off? Even though I die more frequently without it, the shooting feels a lot better with free aim.

On a different note, I noticed that both these videos were filmed on EFLC. Since I'm too lazy to buy GTA IV, and want to play LCPDFR multiplayer, I was considering resurrecting the old multiplayer group attempted by Avrohom a month ago. Would you be willing to attempt a test session before I start it? You're not obliged to, as you have the GTA IV group to run, also.

It's a Timecycle and visual settings mod.

We're already on EFLC for the moment until all hosts fix their GTA's

Oh, I didn't know that, because I thought NB didn't own EFLC. Still, would it be possible to try out a session?

EDIT: Never mind about the multiplayer. I reread the multiplayer group thread, and you state that you may be switching over temproarily to EFLC.

Great video! How did you manage to arrest with a controller, though? Lb doesn't work at all, normally. Are you using ControllerMK? At the end, some other guy stole the suspect's cabby after you searched it! Did you notice? :P

Nope, I aim with the controller but still press E.

And no, I didn't notice that. Dammit, there goes my bonus..

There is also Xpadder, its a emulator.

SIGH. Mega-fail by me there, sorry Supper.

In response, No, I aim with the controller and then press E to arrest.

As for the cab, nope. Totally missed that

@Harper, Nice vids :)

Do you by any chance have a link for the car you use at the start of the first video?

Thanks

-Tom

Unfortunately not, it was a while ago since I created that video. I think it's on the site here somewhere.
