Who else still plays this? I hope I'm not the only one! I personally like LCPD:FR better (based on the actual mod, not Rockstar's work) but it's still nice to have a whole new set of challenges and areas to roam.

It crashed on me a few times.

Can't say I really enjoy it, it's just a copy of 0.91 really..

There goes my plan to play it lol....

Everybody always states that it crashes, I've never experienced that though. I guess I just like the map of San Andreas, very different then LC, just a different place to police :)

Truly if the graphics on San Andreas were like GTA IV i think it would slaughter like absolutely merk GTAIV. The game was one of the best games rockstar ever made because of the verity of stuff you can do in it like the tow truck the trains the planes/jets the cop cars and the hidden easter eggs in it. I haven't played SA since PS3 came out and GTA IV came out but i truly miss it. Easter eggs were awesome and the game really realistic like getting your drivers license and pilots license. The hover dam you could go in it and it's a exact replica of it and similar to the one in transformers. Another Easter egg was the Base in the dessert nick named "Area 51" witch makes sense out in the Nevada dessert exactly where it is in reality.. but yeah it was a fun game only if it was multiplayer and had GTA IV Graphics then it would of been perfect.

From experiance, crashes alot, not stable, but as a beta tester for it I get all the bugs haha. But the maker is working on new call outs for it, its like the beta .95 were it was new and cool but unstable. Yes it is like .91 there are things that are being fixed in it but for now I would really just suggest using a SA-MP server with cop mods, But just my advise.

Everything SAPDFR does can be done better with a well scripted SA-MP server.

I'm kind of ticked at the whole idea of it, imo. I mean the "FR" idea is LCPDFR's and they did copy some of our graphical ideas. I just got done looking at their forums too.

I questioned him about this to, I didn't really approve of the name and I found that it did have some copy'd material in it from lcpdfr like the Y and N for calls, callouts from .91 and stuff but not all of them. But If you like I can talk to him about your oppinion and see maybe if he can change the name. But @ Jay, yea you could do that but that takes alot of time and who wants to do that haha.

Yea, but we the name "FR Modifications" did come in a bit of admiration and other mods we worked on like the EMS mod, because first responders is of course not only police personnel.

It seemed way better, and like the SA community we would like to use the LCPDFR mod, but most of us cant due to crappy pc's, so why not make a SAPDFR modification.

Also as for the crashes, is because of a incompatible mod, best if you have a clean gta sa (no mods etc) then install the sapdfr, once done install other modifications one by one, if your still crashing you should probably wait for the update seems stable to me.

I'm sorry, I do not wish to argue any more after this. But I dislike comments like this. I know its from IPBForumSkins. I have GPM's old IPB theme and it was customized to fit them but I dont use it giving out a link to where it was based off of. Its still the same idea (especially since its a GTA mod that allows you to be a cop). Sorry again, I'm not wishing to argue just stating my opinion. Really its not that big of a idea.

Edit: and the "FR" tag on your staff list and footer reminded me of LCPDFR's "FR".

amen to tht lol thts the only reason i want gta 5 its a gta 4 version of sa.
