I currently use v6. It never gives me any problems in single or MP. It has never made my game crash.

cheers mate, wts the difference between the two?? does v6 comes with more enhance lighting??

ELS V5 causes more crashes because it causes spawned cars not to be deleted after a certain period of time but that's fixed in V6 there are other changes but I can't remember them. I would just go with V6 and if you get a load of crashes switch back to V5

The major difference is that v6 has the option for Halogen light effects (rotating lights).

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.

You can also use your takedowns (spot light) while your normal overheads are still running. That's a huge realism advantage to me, but I kind of "deal with it" and turn on my brights to simulate the effect of a spotlight. In any case, I find that V5 ELS "cooperates" with AI police a bit better, and crashes less.
