Alright, don't know if this is the right place to post this or if it has a real importance but, i was searching for certain images, and Google came up with this:

So i tought "wait a minute, it looks familiar to me..."

 

Opened the link and then i see this:

I went quickly posting a comment asking a few things, i can see i am on the credits (somehow) but, i still want to know why they have uploaded my model on another site, even when in the Read Me file it states that it can only be uploaded at lcpdfr(dot)com, only by me, or whoever who ASKS first for that permission...

 

Did somebody on this site re-uploaded my model, or what is going on?   

I'm not blaming anyone, of course. It's just that, it was on of my first hard working piece and now i'm wondering if that person has been uploading it to another sites claiming it as his own...

 

It just pisses me off.

Yes sir, i have. They won't even reply back. That is the reason why i haven't uploaded anything new

They either rip the car, edit it to make it look horrible, and re-upload it without creditz, or they just re-upload without permisson. They have atleast 80% of meh shit

You could try sending take-down requests to the host and domain registrar's abuse departments.

Unfortunately, this is just the nature of releasing things on the Internet and like Lund said, there's not much you can do about it. I'm a modder as well, so I can definitely see where you are coming from. It is certainly not right and it's very disheartening, but that's the Internet for you. Although I also wouldn't like people uploading my mods without my permission either, I fully expect it with everything I release.

I have never got a mod from because they are all in installer's which I don't trust with car mods, I prefer to put all the mods in myself so I know I am not getting a virus from some installer.

1. As you have said you can't manually install the vehicles.

2. I download from the original website the uploader chose.

I don't trust that either, ever since gta:sa. For me it's better to do a manual install

Only sites I trust now are GTA4-Mods.com, GTAinside.com and LCPDFR.com.

I use to trust GTAinside but they don't seem to care anymore about the modders just the money as they do not takedown stolen/ripped content that was reported by developer, just as bad as to me.

I think those are the only reliable sites, also GPM...

It seems like they go directly to GTA4-Mods and reupload the content from there. That's why I never release stuff on there. They disregard any sort of message you send to them regarding stolen content.

I would say they do it from anywhere, i mean, i have only uploaded that item in this site.
