Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know that if you want to play the LCPD:FR mod you're best bet is to buy it from a retail store (Gamestop, Walmart, BestBuy, Etc) or people say the Steam version work, due to the fact that when people get it from Impulse the mod does not want to seem to work correctly or at all. There has been 2 threads about people having trouble, so I just wanted to put it out their so people know and don't waste thier money on it. Just a friendly reminder. ;)

Actually LCPDFR does work with the impulse version, as long as you install 0.95RC2 instead of 0.91. One of the other members who were experiencing problems was trying to install 0.91 yet as soon as they try 0.95RC2 it worked.

I don't know about the rest of you but I picked up my GTA 4 from walmart a few months back! They still had copies in the stores!!! I reserved it online and they gave me a refund because it was cheaper in the store than online.

Companies mass produced a game when it's first released, this is to cover not only the hundreds upon thousands of stock that goes to stores, but the returns and replacement of faulty discs. Although I found my copy in a local GAME store, hidden among the other less known PC titles.

I have my copy from Impulse and it works fine with LCPDFR, as well as any other script I want to install.

As I said earlier, 0.95 works with the impulse versions of the game, however version 0.91 does not.
