I am trying to get a list of mods together that people use to make LCPDFR even more fun to use. Everyone usually has their own custom cars, skins, uniforms, and weapons. However, what other mods do you use that make your experience with LCPDFR and GTAIV better.

Thats why you lock your car lol

I start shooting when they try to open the door. I think that's probably closest to how a cop would handle being dragged out of their car in real life.

I tend to save my car using SNT then I lock my doors. Because I saved it, I can get back in after a traffic stop.

A proper batoncompliments LCPDFR fairly well.

I also use the indicator mod, as it allows us to use the parking lights, and turn the headlights on and off during nights, not to mention having working turn signals.

Citation holder goes well with LCPDDFR. A simple mod but it's the small things that make a difference.

Also can't recal the name but the mod that puts LCPD logo's etc on the doors of the interior of the police station and police logo on the computers.

I may have found a permanet fix for this by messing with the code that keeps all the elements of criminal acts but removed the being pulled out of your own patrol car part. Other peds will still get car jacked. I am still testing this though atm.

Pretty sure the mod creator don't mind as his read me says he left everything open so people can change settings. But if it turns out to be stable and works ok I will ask him if it's ok to pass on the changes.

"The less overtaking mod" http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=11213 goes well with LCPDFR.

It's title is a bit missleading because the main benefit of this mod is when stopped at traffic lights or doing a traffic stop cars will stop behind you for 20 or so seconds. This has the overall effect of lowering the amount of cars that will smash into the back of your patrol car when stopped for what ever reason.

No one likes getting rammed when at traffic lights.

Also never knew about the idle animation mod. Gonna give that a try as anything that adds to cop realism I am interested in. +1 Custo
