Alright so i'll try to make this short...

 

I trying to make a crown vic police car and i have chosen the Whelen Justice by Bxbugs. That has a seperate emerglights file. Then i wanted some Whelen TIR3 leds by Hilth0 but those have a seperate emergilights file as well! So i came to the conclusion that, i can either have only els models with the Bxbugs emerglights or only els models with the Hilth0 emerglights. But i want both!

Not sure if it's possible though... So i came here to get help. Hope my issue is understandable

Textures are mapped to polygons on a model (in this case, a light bar).  Instead of remapping the textures to fit the desired appearance, you can just manually combine Hilth0's textures with BxBug's textures by copying the desired texture out of the image, pasting it on the original texture, and scaling it so it fits properly.  You can use an image editing application, such as Microsoft Paint (which comes with every copy of Windows) or GIMP to preform this operation.

 

Specifically, select the LED texture out of the second picture, copy it, paste it on the default texture, and scale it so the old texture was completely covered.

^ That. However, you cannot use Microsoft Paint because it doesn't support transparency and both - well BxBugs' emerglights for sure - needs transparency for the glass.

Or you can just rename the texture to something else (emerglights_justice for example), then change the texture in each of the materials used for the Justice to emerglights_justice instead of emerglights (or the same with the TIR3s). The problem with this method is that you will now have 2 emerglights files, increasing the size of your .wtd.
