I'd recommend you use a desktop instead. They are cheaper (If you already have peripherals) and you can build it specifically to specification.
  2. LtKeller's post in creating els car help was marked as the answer
No, ELS flashes the coronas in the same location as the headlight and tailights (which every vehicle already has). You just need to enable headlight and tailight coronas in your vehicle's configuration file located in the ELS folder.
[ CORONAS ] Headlights = off, 0, white, white Taillights = off, 0, red, red IndicatorsF = off, 0, white, white IndicatorsB = off, 0, red, red Reverselights = off, 0, white, white
  3. LtKeller's post in GTA IV Crashing while quitting the game was marked as the answer
Delete AdvancedHookInit.asi, and install taser manually.  Instructions can be found here: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
If this does not solve your problem, please reply with your AdvancedHook, ScriptHook, and Diagnostics logs.
  4. LtKeller's post in HELP! LCPDFR NOT WORKING! was marked as the answer
Please ensure that an ASI Loader, ScriptHook and AdvancedHook are present.
Also, make sure you have all dependencies installed. You can check this by running the LCPDFR diagnostics tool, located in the "LCPDFR" folder at the GTA IV root directory.

  6. LtKeller's post in LCPDFR 1.1 with xliveless, stable or not? was marked as the answer
Both xlive and dsound generally interract the same way with LCPD:FR.  So yes, xlive is stable.
  7. LtKeller's post in Faulting module GTAIV.exe was marked as the answer
ELS is problably the problem; see http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/troubleshooting-crashes-r112.
  8. LtKeller's post in Game Crashes _ Suspecting ELS was marked as the answer
    Hi,
Els' problems mainly stem from Advancedhook.  See this guide I wrote (http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/troubleshooting-crashes-r112) for troubleshooting ELS crashes.
  9. LtKeller's post in LCPDFR Keeps crashing after 5-10 minutes was marked as the answer
This problably has to do with AdvancedHook.  Try deleting Advancedhookinit.asi (and install taser manualy).  If that dosen't work, try this: http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/troubleshooting-crashes-r112
  10. LtKeller's post in Please help~ GTA4 crashes after awhile was marked as the answer
Either ELS is causing problems, or you have an invalid version of AdvancedHook. Try doing a manual reinstall of LCPD:FR.
  11. LtKeller's post in GTA IV crash, freeze screen! was marked as the answer
It's problably ELS being unstable.  Try:
Disable ELS on NON-ELS vehicles in slotcontrol.ini Disable Cruise Lights in the vehicle configuration file Disable ClearRandAIExtras (If Above Works) Re-enable and reduce ClearRandAiExtras distance Reduce Els_Range_Ai Change ASI Loader For detailed instructions, see this: https://www.lcpdfr.c...ng-crashes-r112
  12. LtKeller's post in ELS V.8 Problem was marked as the answer
    Try the following:
Find the GTAIV folder Right click, then click properties Uncheck Read-Only Go to Security Click "Edit" Click Users Check the "Full Control" Checkbox Click Apply Close out of all dialog boxes
  13. LtKeller's post in Are there any stable paramedics? was marked as the answer
Worter's callouts also contain "less than lethal" Paramedics I've found to work well and be more intergrated with LCPD:FR.  Paramedics called by a cell phone, however, will only attend to the player and not to any civilians in GTA IV.
  14. LtKeller's post in ELS v8 Crashes was marked as the answer
Try turning MaxElsCarsAtOnce down, ClearRandAiExtras off, and cruise lights in the individual vehicle config files off.

  15. LtKeller's post in LCPDFR 1.0c Crashes was marked as the answer
My best guess would be ELS.  Try changing [ClearRandAiExtrasSp = off] to [ClearRandAiExtrasSp = on], your asi loader, and disabling ELS AI altogether (in ELS.ini).  Also, individual vehicle configuration files with enabled cruise lights could be problematic.
  16. LtKeller's post in GTA IV has stopped working error was marked as the answer
I meant the scripts folder, excluding all LCPDFR scripts of course.  Again, try deleting <<AdvancedHookInit.asi>> before you do this, or disabling ELS Ai.
  17. LtKeller's post in LCPDFR Cop models don't match voices (Custom textures/models) was marked as the answer
Inside <<pedVariations.ide>>, there is the following text:
    #model no. of variations we are setting values for M_Y_COP, 10 #slot geometry BULK JOB SUNNY WET MAT1 RES1A RES1B RES2A RES2B AUDIO ID feet, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, -1, -1, -1, -1, 1 head, 2, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, -1, -1, -1, -1, 10 head, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, -1, -1, -1, -1, 6 head, 1, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, -1, -1, -1, -1, 6 uppr, 1, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 2, 1, 100, 1, 3 uppr, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 2, 1, 100, 1, 1 lowr, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, -1, -1, -1, -1, 1 suse, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, -1, -1, -1, -1, 1 p_head, 0, 1, 1, 1, 0, 0, -1, -1, -1, -1, 0 p_head, 1, 1, 1, 0, 1, 0, -1, -1, -1, -1, 0 end Each value inside each column corresponds to a varation of a body part.  An example body part would be <<head_002_r>>.  In the case of voices, each numerical value cooresponds with a file (<<M_Y_COP_BLACK>>,<<M_Y_COP_HISPANIC>>,etc. by default) defined in the bottom of <<peds.ide>>.
M_Y_Cop, M_Y_COP_BLACK, 0 M_Y_Cop, M_Y_COP_HISPANIC, 1 M_Y_Cop, M_Y_COP_WHITE, 2 The actual files themselves are stored inside <<GTAIVpcaudioSfxspeech.rtf>>. You van try changing the values of the numbers to match the voices, or modfy the voices directly using OpenIV to replace each file.  I reccomend trying to change the numerical values in <<pedvariations.ide>> as it is the simplest and would work better with the game.
    I hope this helped!
