Remove any version of the C++ 2012 redist and download and install the x86 version from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679

Okay, I just fixed mine and here's what I did.  First completely turn off and disable any anti-virus program.  LCPDFR as well as several other scripts use a deep rooted Trojan and your Anti virus software will attack it each and every time.  This will cause the loader not to load.  (I believe you said you did this, but just in case, this is what I did to fix mine: Then I went to my GTAIV main folder and right clicked the "LaunchGTAIV".  Go to properties and then compatibility.  Select Run this program in compatibility mode with Windows 7 or your windows version.  Then at the bottom select Run as Administrator check box.  Start your game and you should be working smoothly.  Worked perfectly for me right after that.  Also make sure there is only 1 LCPDFR loader file in the script folder.  Needs to be one.  If I really had to guess, I think it is the Anti-Virus program mixed with the Administrator option for my case.  Give it a shot.

We don't use a trojan at all. This is a problem with your anti-virus software detecting our modification as a trojan incorrectly. Our software is not actually a trojan.

Oh awesome, thank you for the clarification on that, and sorry if it at all came off accusatory.  I didn't mean it to be.  I think you are right, my Symantec ant-Virus did call it a Trojen, so it must be something with my software.  It would shut the loader down every time and remove it.  Was strange.  All fixed now.  Thanks.

The problem with AV software is, for software their signatures don't yield any results they can just guess based on behavior. And as you can imagine LCPDFR and especially AdvancedHook do things an AV software could also expect from a virus: Modifying memory of a process, injecting modules, hooking functions/WIN API etc. So it's just trying to tell you: "I found software that could - based on its behavior - be malicious, but I'm not sure."
