I've seen some shaky police cases in the recent news and I want to know your guys opoioin on these stories, are the police officers abusing their power or were they in the right? I'm just curious as to what's been in the news recently. Also did you guys hear about Norte dame basketball players wearing "I can't breathe" shirts?

yes. using a stungun on a old man who is on the ground. really?!

yes. he could have explained why he could or could not move his cruiser.

no. what do expect when you punch someone in the face. no matter is he is a  cop or not.

no. if a cop asks you to keep your hands out of your pocket multiple times and refuse to do soyou will give them reason to believe that you have a gun.

okey lethal force might be a bit to much but still.

but that is just my opinion, and everyone is entiteled to their own.

I agree with nypdcvpi, but I don't think Police Brutality isn't an outbreak or a massive problem like people are making it. Yes, some cops abuse they're power just like any person of authority might, but they are a super minority of LEOs. And that I can't breathe thing has been going for a couple of weeks. The Eric Garner situation was a freak accident, he didn't even die from the "choke-hold", I believe he just started to freak out and his poor health couldn't handle all of it. Plus if they tasered him, it probably would've been the same outcome, who knows. Sorry about my rant lol

First video, the guy steps out as he is approaching the window... which is an immediate red flag, when the officer attempts to control him (via hand restraint) the older guy starts pulling away, (again another red flag) The officer draws the tazer to get get the guy to comply by putting his hands behind his head. We dont see the tazer be deployed, but i can speculate it was because the older man did not comply with instructions. With what i have seen and explained (my opinions obviously) not excessive.

Second  stepping on the guys head into the pavement is a bit much, but as far as the flashlight, i did not see a baton on the officers belt. The officer already tried O/C spray and to taze the guy, both which didnt work. The suspect was already on probation for drugs and carrying a concealed firearm. In the state of California everyone on probation/parole has a search clause in the terms of their probation/parole which means for any time any reason, or for no reason officers may search the probationer/parolee. From the video it looked like he refused, which is a violation so he shall be taken to jail. which comes to the fact of these "watchdogs" who only record what they want you to see never the full stop.

Third punch/kick me, I will defend myself and arrest your ass in the process.

Fourth hands kill, let me see yours so i can go home tonight.... Nuff Said.

The article is about a deputy who arrested a suspect on parole with usage of a pepper spray, can't find about moving a vehicle...

The parolee originally contacted the officer about moving his car, then  got belligerent.
