Anti-Islam Marches In Germany

Featured Replies

Your example is invalid, because the bible doesn't command Christians to kill innocent people, so your example would probably never happen lol. I wouldn't say that I'm stubborn, I'd say that I have very strong views on the subject.

I also addressed those quotes from the bible, which you clearly haven't read my comment on as usual. Seems like with you you pick and choose which comments you want to read and agree with. It's not just you though, its a lot of others participating in this discussion. They pick and choose what they want to read, what they want to argue about, and dismiss anything else. This is why the debate can never end, because people don't address the entire argument.

When someone disagrees with your point, then it's up to you to defend your point. Just giving up and accepting defeat so miserably doesn't make your opinion appear to have any value.

You really don't read. This not being written in the Bible wouldn't stop people to use it as an EXCUSE to justify their actions. Is there written in the Quran "Go bomb people until the world kneels before you"? No, it isn't. Because now, let's stop playing the naive kid, those terrorists want to make the world kneel before them, not to bring their religion over us. It's a war for POWER and not for religion.

They use the religion as an excuse. How many times did I repeat that? Too many, and it still doesn't get into people's thick skulls.

  • A highly generalized statement describing the tiny minority of people who call themselves Muslims. Just because a few people who call themselves followers of Islam give us a bad reputation, doesn't me

Are people really this ignorant to believe that all Muslims are terrorists? Come on people wake up, it is only a small majority of this religion that are extremists. Meaning not all Muslims are terror

  • You have a funny reading of "wage war" to think it necessarily includes every single person who disagrees with the teachings of a religion. Also, you're saying that Islam is somehow inherently differ

I can sense your anger (Star Wars reference lol). I don't understand why you appear to be getting so angry and irritated. Is it because I am consistently disagreeing with your opinion? My purpose here isn't to start a flame-war, my purpose is to expose the fact that the Qu'ran commands Muslims to kill and terrorize non-believers, as I've been saying all night. You've also just proved my point with the bolded statement above. :)

You can't really use Christianity as an example when compared to Islam, as Jay has already stated.

This is why I say that you can't generalize the entire bible to represent Christianity. Each of these verses you've posted are from the Old Testament, which is before Jesus Christ. Christians believe in both the Old Testament and the New Testament, but follow the New Testament. Judaism follows only the Old Testament. This is the difference in Christianity and Judaism, so please don't take verses from the Old Testament and apply it to all of Christianity, because that just simply isn't true. Jesus Christ taught contradictory to what the Old Testament said. If anything, you're representing Judaism with these verses, not Christianity.

"Christians believe in both the Old Testament and the New Testament"

If this is the case than I fail to see how your argument makes sense. They believe in it but they don't practice it? So Christians and Jews believe they should kill all the non-believes, but only the Jews will do it because they happen to "follow" this section of the collection of desert scribbles?

Sir, I salute you for having the courage to do this research. Maybe it'll bring some sense into people's heads and stop them from hating and making generalizations based on the acts of just a couple crazy dudes.

I'd hardly call it courageous. I'm an atheist. I'm not partial to any one religion or another. I mean no disrespect, but I think any sort of belief in a god or some higher power is ridiculous. I think the notion that we take Greek, Roman, and other forgone religions as myth, but hold contemporary ones as if they're any different is just plain denial. Religion has been used an excuse or driving force being innumerable atrocities throughout history.

I'm glad we share the same opinion on religions.

This is correct. It does make sense, otherwise I doubt Christianity and Judaism would still be around, and still be among the most influential religions on the entire planet. If you do not understand, do some research on it. I'm not here to debate Christian and Jewish philosophy.

Are you a Christian?

Are you a Christian?

I'm mixed on my religious faith at the moment. I've been a Christian up until a few months ago, when I began to question my faith and the reality of Christianity. At the moment I do consider myself a Christian, but I'm a bit uneasy about it.

It's interesting to see Germany starting protests against Islam when Australia, who was the direct target of a terrorist attack not but a day ago, started a campaign to show support to the Islamic and Muslim people.

I hear that Australia is very diverse and equal on the basis of religion, is this true?

Wouldn't then, considering you said my above interpretation was correct, you be obligated to believe you should kill Hystery?

No, though that's what God commands. Christianity is a very contradictory religion as far as what the bible commands, God commands, and Jesus Christ's actions when on Earth. This is where Christianity splits into several branches. Catholic, Protestant, Baptist, Lutheran, etc. The bible is an assortment of stories and first-hand encounters with Jesus Christ written by followers. With that being said, the bible can't necessarily be considered the "Law of Christianity"; Unless it's what Jesus Christ says directly.

As far as my belief goes, no. I don't believe in murdering people, unless it significantly increases the well-being of the planet.

For some people I've met in my life, killing me would significantly increases the well-being of the planet

HOLD UP ya'll gonna go against AN ENTIRE RACE OF PEOPLE thats messed up you all need to die if you think that, but if you're talking about specific groups like ISIS, ISIL, and the Taliban, and other terrorist organization than i don't care go right ahead but if you're going to want to wipe out a whole race of people you seriously need to kill yourself, honestly i have quiet a bit of muslim friends but you don't see me threatening them, and call then goat f*****.

And for others, killing them would significantly increase the well-being of the room, which I've wanted to do so badly at times lol. But fortunately we have law and order, and I have a bit of self control.. lol.

Because people generalize Islam's and NEVER do their research, and sit on their fat ass getting brainwashed by the media, making the middle east look bad. Good men are going into the middle east dying for god damn money so that the 8 defence contractors can rule over the US Government even more.

I can't say I agree with these marches...I personally don't support the Islamic religion, and I don't think we should hate a certain type or group of people because of their religious choice....I personally also have a VERY close family member who became Muslim about 8 or 9 years ago...So no, I don't hate people who believe in that stuff...who I do hate are groups like ISIS and other militant groups who use a religion as a "backing"

It's kinda like that 1% of cops who do bad things which puts a "bad" name for Law Enforcement for the idiotic general public. (99% of cops are good hard working people trying to make a difference and help their community)

Yes, this is definitely correct. Australia is extremely multicultural.

I'm not going to go into detail because honestly I wouldn't know what to talk about but if you want to learn more check out this Wiki page.

Now it's a nice time to notice that the General Court of the EU has declared HAMAS a non-terrorist organization because the original decision was based "not on acts

examined and confirmed in decisions of competent authorities but on factual imputations derived from the press and the internet." This leaves some room for amending the decision, but still... Hamas ain't terrorists?..

The Palestinian-Israeli conflict is a totally different subject, I highly doubt it's necessary to bring it here.
